Cmoney has been an amazing friend to this community over the years. A real good example of somebody we all could shoot to try to be like in many ways, the balling included. Anything is possible its all in the mind that is fact of life. No matter the odds your gonna pull through this better than ever. Believe it and it will happen. Much respect to you Cmoney. I’ve already spent a few hours reading up on stage iv melanoma. Obviously I spent a lot of years reading pubmed publications for myself, and navigating the labyrinth of message board feedback and clinical trial listings for my obscure cancer back in the day. I have a lot of cancer knowledge, but not of the skin cancer variety. Mine was much rarer than melanoma, but I’ve found when it comes to cancer, you have to be your own advocate. Clearly you having the means to pursue anything promising makes it easier than someone who lacks the means and ability to travel. I’ve already compiled a preliminary list of what appear to be the best facilities and specialists here in the US. I’d be surprised if you haven’t already done this, but an extra pair of eyes that has been through this type of thing never hurts.
While generally the US is the gold standard on these matters, I know I found many experts in Europe that were at times doing a trial that may not be available in the United States. The Scandinavian countries do a lot of good work also, and it wouldn’t surprise me to see them offer something innovative given their high level of education there coupled with it being a fair-skinned population. That’s just conjecture at this point as I haven’t started looking there yet. When I get together something comprehensive, I’ll pm it to you along with my contact information if you simply want another pair of eyes that’s been through this shit to crosscheck what you’ve already researched on your own.
I’ll let you do your initial course of chemo and see where you stand. Most of what I’ve read seems to point to higher success rates with a combined drug/immunotherapy protocol after the initial chemo. That’s where your best hope lies. You’re going to get sick of receiving snake oil gifts from well-meaning friends. I swear there was a time I was getting 3 jugs of noni juice a week from friends convinced it cured everything. That was the holistic rage when I was going through it. Like I said, it’s nice to know people care, but fielding calls from people that think all you have to do is eat some wheat germ and swallow the latest fad becomes an annoyance all itself,
particularly if you have a lot of holistic types in your circle and you already feel like shit and have people wanting to call about shit they read on the Internet that cures everything when you’re curled up in a ball sick as fuck.
No one was happier than me when that Kevin Trudeau guy got sent to prison. He generated a lot of the misinformation that fell into my lap during that time.

I was absolutely ecstatic when he was FINALLY thankfully convicted and given some prison time. We both know hes going to continue his bullshit when he gets out, but hopefully he will have enough resistance that he will shut it down. Not too hopeful though.
I had been following this guys shenanigans and abhorrent tactics for YEARS literally beginning in the late 90s. I told myself at that time that this fucker is going to sooner or later end up dead or in prison. Not many people really realize the shit he shit he pulled before he started selling his shitty books.
Fun fact: he was ultimately banned from selling tangible products on infomercials because of his scams. He found a loophole by selling BOOKS, which of course bred the "shit they dont want you to know about" series, and the rest is history.

It was astounding to me how some of his followers grasp on to every word he says...even though he has literally KILLED people over the years who believed him.
