Official Ovechkin and the Caps come through to finally win Stanley Cup in 5 games over upstart Vegas

As somebody whos been a diehard fan of the Caps since 1985 and having endured insane multi over time games in the playoffs and repeated heartbreak thinking "this year has to be it" only to be foiled and the Nightmare from hell known as Pittsburgh would haunt us repeatedly beating us 9 out of 10 series until this year (which was our first series victory over them in 1994).. I had a feeling this was going to be different when we overcame Crosby and Company.. Caps were only the second team in history to trail in every round of the playoffs only to come back and win them and win it all.. (The aforementioned Pittsburgh Penguins were the only others to do so over 25 yrs ago). While a fan of Ovi and not saying he wasn't deserving of consideration for the Conn Smythe I thought Kuznetsov #92 was more deserving having been the leading scorer for the Caps and the most points since Evegeni Malkin of Pittsburgh in the playoffs.. Anyway.. Without further adieu, I give you the 2018 Stanley Cup Champion WASHINGTON CAPITALS

Congratulations!!!

The Capitals deserved to win the Stanley Cup this year but the Las Vegas Golden Knights performed better than any NHL expansion team in history. I believe that they have attracted a lot more fans to hockey and as early as next year, they might win the Stanley Cup.

Theres another picture of Ovi just skating around and 4 guys behind him all stopping and staring at the chick with her tits out.. Was absolutely epic.. The pics of Ovi carrying the Cup through MGM Casino are awesome as well.. (it was a bit of a troll on Ovis part over the comments about nocaps)

As for Vegas they definitely overachieved but people shouldn't be that massively surprised.. McPhee their GM was DCs GM and was responsible for drafting Ovi, Backstrom, Holtby, and a few other key pieces.. I honestly felt McPhee got a raw deal slightly but I get it the owner felt a change was needed after years of heartburn..
