    Nutribullet delights

Just downed a blueberry, kale, banana, apple and strawberry smoothie. Fucking delicious.

Been getting right into these lately but made a few recipe shockers which have ended up down the sink.

What do you put in yours?

Your liver can't tell the difference between that smoothie and a pepsi.

Jesus, you fat turds don't know anything about nutrition.

Congrats on 1000 calories of mostly sugar . Try an Avacado , banana or full fat yogurt to make the smoothie edible but should be 90 percent vegetables . You decided to let you body skip this part and gave it a head shot of 5 fruits at once . From a calorie perspective you be better off slamming two Pepsi’s instead .

At least when you eat whole fruits it is within its own pectin slowing absorption of sugar .

Berries are low in sugar, use more of them and less banana and apple.

You're confusing smoothies with juicing. Smoothies retain the fiber from the fruits and vegetables.

Has zero to do with how the liver process it nor the insulin spike it produces.

You fat turds need to stop posting in this thread.

Nope it very much matters. Think of it like how your body processes alcohol. Concentration and eating makes a difference. Whole fruit would be better because it slows down consumption, but just the fiber alone makes a lesser insulin spike.

Glucose is vital to humans. Issues from sugar only come when it's too much too fast. With fresh whole fruit it's almost impossible to get too much sugar. With soda it's very easy. Smoothies are somewhere in between.

Gimmick is 100 percent right. A Smoothie is in the middle. It contains everything the whole fruit has but you used the blender to be your teeth and gave yourself a head shot of 5 "chewed" fruits in a sort period of time which is overload.

Fruit today is not what fruit used to be. It has been modified greatly to increase sweetness.

How do you think that was done?

Random article from a source Devidee might accept...

    https://www.bodybuilding.com/content...-of-fiber.html

...in short soluble fiber molecules bind to glucose molecules. This causes them absorb slowly in to the bloodstream. This gives insulin time to flip it into energy while keeping the blood glucose levels reasonable. Without fiber blood sugar spikes and your insulin distribution system makes the executive level decision of prohibiting glucose from entering your bloodstream. Instead of flipping glucose to energy, it flips it to fat for a rainy day. All this would be fine if people ever used that rainy day storage of fat, but usually they don't.
