I'm genuinely suprised how many think he will win another one. Also everyone keeps saying if he's going to do it it will be at Augusta where he just finished 16 strokes off the lead.
yes
no

I hope I'm wrong, but it's only a matter of time before his back gives out again.
I just looked into his back surgery(s)
I didnt realize it had escalated to this level. This may not be a bad thing. Here is what happened.
He injured his disc. Not sure which one, but Im going to guess L5/S1. He had a discectomy (which is what I had two of). The disc is likely herniated, so they go in, cut the tendon, move the muscle, possibly drill out a bit of bone, so they can access the disc, then they cut the herniated portion of the disc off, then put a patch over that part of the disc, move the muscle back to its normal place, and reattach the tendon, if necessary (provided they cut it in the first place).
This now means that you have 1 shitty disc, that is now smaller than it once was, and its likely compressing more, and slowly deteriorating.
Tiger then reinjures it again, and has a second discectomy. Repeat step 1, likely.
Tiger later does it again, and has his THIRD FUCKING DISCECTOMY
Its now a FOURTH FUCKING TIME, where he injures his back and they decide that A FUSION is the best way to go (It likely is, at this point, where they fuse the bones together, thus reducing the amount of torque/strain on that disc. My buddy had one where they fused several bones and put a cage in there, and now he is back to golfing after 9 mos of rehab. His swing is great again.
If his back is fused, that will actually help, from what I have been told. I dont think its a 100% guarantee that the disc will not herniate again, but at this point, those bones above and below, arent going anywhere (mine are now touching, and I have around 10% of my original disc left, and it hurts like a bitch, and all of the dics above are now decompressing a bit).
He was having sciatica down his leg (this is usually L5/S1) and the pain really sucks. trust me.
NOTE: I was just using the google, and found this article, which explains things. It Was his L5/S1

The odds of Tiger Woods fucking a stripper or pornstar have improved.
It won't be long before the old Tiger Woods emerges and scores again.
Hope you put some money where your mouth is. He’s probably the favorite
Well, damn. Dream day to this point for Tiger. Just been the most solid player on course today.
I did not, Jordan Spieth at the top of the leader board spooked me. I did not anticipate him falling apart. I actually saw my book last night and asked him about the tourney, he does not usually handle golf bets but was willing to do me a favor based on what was online odds, but I passed.
I am just holding out until college football season. I am looking to go heavy on FSU against VT and Miami v LSU. I think it's the state of Florida's year. UF might have a big year to, it's just cycling around.
Tiger was fun to watch though, glad he is back, he will win a couple/3 more majors, that is for sure. He just got a couple bad breaks on 11 and 12 today.
What you don't know, which is a lot, but specifiaclly about golf is that there are
a thousands of Tiger Wood's wannabes on the rise.
Case in point a 16 year old U.S Junior Amateur champ crowned on Saturday. If you had watched any of the 36 hole match play final you'd agree that a 42 year old's future looks grim. These kids are Tiger Wood's fanboys and they are just as amazing at year 16. There is a fearlessness in this age group. They hit the ball 300 yards, don't have the savvy of a pro but neither the self doubt that comes with age.
And that's just in the junior rank. We saw it in the Open, talent up the ying yang. No other generation has seen such competition on the rise.
The PGA Championsip has always been the red haired step-child of the majors.
The fact that CBS has always sucked Tiger’s cock is part of it. When he was winning it became the Tiger Wood's four hour special. Now that he get's close they can't help themselves. Brooks Koepka meanwhile gets no respect.
Too many hours devoted to this tourney does't help.
It's almost bad TV
I’ll say this - if I made the bet I wouldn’t be nearly as comfortable now. I still think no is the chalk but you can see flashes of old tiger.
I think the open next year is his best shot.
Jason Day
You could tell he was feeling miserable today, but was still solid. He doesn’t need to be 100% to win one of these. Just reasonably healthy with a few breaks. Health and age are usually intertwined, but I’m confident he’ll be fit enough in an athletic sense to win one of these for another 5-7 years, but back pain is a tricky fucker.
Caught pretty much all these guys last week at the WGC. That Koepka is highly impressive in person. Dude outhit everyone by 25 yards consistently when I followed him for half his round. Really strong kid. Was shocked how small Rory got again. Must have quit the lifting. Couple years ago he had become a short, yet powerful dude. Was really slim as I stood next to him. Was true about a lot of these guys. I always forget until
I go watch them live. They always say tv adds 10lbs. Never is that truer than golf. Guys were way smaller than I perceived them, and they just hit the ball in a way I could only dream of.
I’d lay pretty big money at +400 that he wins another major at some point in his career. He led the Open a few weeks ago with 8 holes left. He’s 4 back in the PGA. On the back 9 today he had 6 birdie putts inside 20 feet and made zero. He could easily be tied for the lead. If he keeps giving himself chances, he will get it done once. No doubt at all IMO.
It's hilarious that we as a society think everyone can be a dr, a lawyer, an engineer. Some people are just fucking stupid. Why can't we just accept that?
