I think he has some gas left in the tank and will probably bag up a few random wins...but considering the competition I.E. Jordan Spieth, Rory, Jason Day etc...
my bet is he never wins another major
obv worthy of a debate
yes
no

I don’t think he will win another. The competition is too strong and he has fallen too far. One of the biggest reasons he was so successful in the past was because the other players were intimidated by him. The new generation has never known a competitive tiger, so initimidation is not really a factor for them.

I think there is a very strong argument to suggest that Tiger is the best golfer of all time
that said, I still question his ability to close the deal on any more majors
he seems to have lost that tenacity and passion he had in his prime
he started taking 3 irons off the tee on par 4's and stopped just bashing it like he did when he was just on fire winning everything
pretty sure he will take down some more random wins....he seems like his health/back issues are behind him now and he's clearly been working very hard to get back in the groove
but taking down another major is a completely different ball game
I love Tiger and would enjoy seeing it happen, but it just doesn't seem attainable with the current field of PGA talent
Not only do I think he will win another, I think he is poised to go on a heater and win a grand slam. I figure he will end up with 20-22 majors when all said and done.
I can appreciate the sentiment here
but in this case I think your analysis is wishful thinking
huge Tiger fan here, but he is up against some serious talent
not a chance in hell he wins 20-22 majors
as stated in the OP....he def bags a few randoms
but he doesn't have the internal passion/fortitude to take down any more majors
imo
Ive had two discectomies. I blew up my L5/S1 disc, using my driver, torquing my body.
Tiger torques harder than most golfers and had to have a discectomy when he blew out his disc. I have no f'ing clue how he is able to swing the way he does. Im legit concerned that he is going to overswing one day and be paralyzed.
watching him bash in his early years was awe inpiring
I mean the guy literally compelled Augusta management and the PGA to revamp the entire fucking course
I hear what you're saying though....his swing was so perfect....if you watch him in his prime....my God he just explodes at the point of impact
one of my critiques of Tiger was that he got to the point where he took his foot off the gas...taking irons off the tee.....Im thinking to myself....'wtf man'.....but DRK you just raised a very good point about the toll his explosive swing has taken on his back
if you watch his early years....when he was demolishing everything and just slamming his driver as hard as he could....it was pure poetry
I really do hope he puts it all together and wins at least one more major
i think he will simply because he has so much potential when he's peak performing. him being in decline means hes just peak performing less. but perhaps hes just too far gone, it could be the case.

I put it at -400 for him to NOT win another major and that number will be greater than -500 by the end of 2019.
Positives
He is tiger fucking woods
He looks much better than just a year ago
He is supposedly passed all the wife drama
Negatives
He's 42
He has a bad injury history with the back
Only 10 majors in history over the age of 44, none over the last 28 years
Level of competition today is far greater than pre 1990
Has drinking/drug issues
-400 might be low.
Think sizzler has it here...
Wouldn't count him out at any venue, but I'd bet his best shot is gonna be at Augusta...strange shit always seems to happen at that place...I could see some narrative like Jack winning there in '86 happening for him...
I say one more, probably a Masters

We've had this discussion on this board before & I said then that he will never win another major & I stand by that.

totally agree with this
if (and its a big if) he does win another one
it will be at Augusta
the real question is just how good is he.....and can he beat these fields now against the likes of Jordan, Rory, Jason Day, Ricky Fowler etc
it is good to see his health issues behind him now though.....since he started grinding again, he's been in contention several times
would be EPIC to see him take down another major......wow what a monumental comeback that would be
Obviously he needs to do the things that relaxed him enough to go on that ungodly streak, it's never too late to do blow off some random waffle house waitress tits just before you're schedule to tee off at Augusta...........Just saying......

Not another win, never mind a major
