I can even get behind the basic premise of the government helping the poor afford healthcare, as well as forcing people to purchase health insurance so they don't later cry foul when they get sick and no one will treat them.

However, it is implemented poorly, and will turn into a fiasco come 2014.

Regarding the poker issue, the Obama Administration has clearly shown where they stand on it. Not only was Obama in office for Black Friday, but the White House itself released a statement to the PPA that they don't support legalized online poker on a federal level. While Romney is not likely to be pro-online-poker, Obama has already shown that he opposes it, so voting for the guy with the belief that he will help make it legal is foolish.

I am not going to blame Obama for the gas prices or the slow recovery, but the fact is that nothing major he has done or attempted has worked out. You can't count health care, because most of that begins in 2014, and you will see all of the problems it brings along.

Coal mining is declining because in the last 5 years natural gas has gone from twice the cost of coal to half the price of coal. Every new power plant is a natural gas plant because of basic economics, not because of the EPA.

If the Keystone XL Pipeline had been approved, it would have started carrying oil in 10-12 years, and very little of that oil would end up being used in the US. That has absolutely nothing to do with oil and gas prices now.
