I think this was posted here already?? also if you go to PAL the issue has pretty much resolved itself in the past week(from what I can gather reading between the lines of the posts, the affiliate and Shane didn't care for one another and now Shane doesn't deal with him anymore). Cliffs from the PAL thread:

-The guy was reinstated by Jennifer Larson who contacted him
-Gerry (an affiliate himself) gave his input and they fixed/are-fixing the goofy policy that caused the problem in the first place

Thanks for posting this over here too China...more so because it's from my own site of course, lol.

@ Steve....I don't the issue has been resolved fully whatsoever. The last post came last week over at PAL from the OP and he just mentioned that Jen Larson is at least making attempts to work with him and answer all the questions that Shane Bridges couldn't answer over the past few months regarding his particular situation.

There have been no specifics added to that thread but I'll bump it to see if anything else has been resolved, especially getting his money credited back to his account for the CPA chargeback and if they have indeed amended their awful T & C's regarding that.

Also, the Lock Poker sub-forum over at 2+2 has been blowing up lately with complaints about deposits not being credited to their accounts properly and customer support once again going into the shitter with replies taking weeks instead of a few hours (at most a day or two). I had high hopes for Lock Poker on my own sites but after all the things I've been through with them personally and of course with people like Shane I don't even think a new network and a new AM (Gerry from PNB) -- who I'm absolutely great friends with btw -- can convince me their shadiness will ever go away any time soon.

    Hey Pino,

I thought he was told he would receive his CPA chargeback in full? I could have sworn there were updates there in the past few days. And as I said in my post I don't know if the policy has been resolved but my understanding is that its being worked on, correct? And if I'm not mistaken this is the main Lock Poekr thread already, could be wrong though as I've been following this on a couple of forums/sites

Yea I asked Josh to reply to that thread earlier and he said Jenn has finally come around and credited his cash back from the chargeback issue and that T and C's would be amended for certain cases. Glad to see its been resolved and maybe they can figure out how to get these player issues fixed going forward.

My take on Lock Poker is far less harsh than others, as I do'nt find them any more likely to have something critical occur than any of the other top US rooms (DOJ shutdown, some cash shortfall, what have you). But I will say that they seem to take a little bit longer to make decisions/announcements than other sites, and this is what bites them in the ass from time to time. Perhaps Jen Larson is an overly cautious businessperson when it comes to PR, I don't really know, but just like a medical problem, the longer you let an issue fester usually the worse it gets (not to mention the patient gets a lot more panicky when you leave them hanging).

So what was Jennifer's excuse for this happening in this first place?

Was this actually all a legitimate misunderstanding, or was Lock really punishing this affiliate for the chargeback until the matter was brought public and made Lock look bad?

Jennifer has definitely had a pretty checkered past that's been well-documented in the industry; especially amongst affiliates, AM's and other operators in online gambling. I mean her response to the OP over at PAL was pretty mind-blowing....hell, there was even a T&C (I'm assuming this has since been amended after that situation) that basically said if you talked shit about Lock or put them in a negative light in any public forum your agreement with them was as good as over.

She continually baffles me with the way she runs her company, especially since it's really had its moments where it seemed Lock was destined to be THE #1 spot to play poker online in the USA. Her move to hire a muppet like Shane Bridges is as equally baffling as well. While I give him credit for being the best at what he does in terms of spinning negativity back onto any person or community (2+2 for starters), the guy just has a piss-poor attitude towards anyone who dare cross Lock, whether it be personally or privately.

One can only hope Lock rights the ship eventually...assuming that's even possible with someone like Jennifer Larson manning it.

    I agree with the above.

I don't know all that much about Shane, but the guy acted like a complete douche in that Casino Bonus thread on 2+2. He was extremely rude to one of the victims (MicroBob), and generally had a condescending attitude toward everyone in the thread. At least Rizen was good at coming off as professional and friendly, even if he was stalling and dodging important questions.

I also wonder why Lock can't just keep its nose clean. They definitely have a talent for marketing, but they just seem to run into one scandal after another. So many of these problems are just so stupid, and could easily be avoided if they had someone with a clue in charge of customer service and public relations.

Pino would probably know better than me, but the policy that was in place may have been unfair to affiliates, but it was in place and part of the terms. From what I understand this was a "standard" policy back in the day but has since changed??? I'd like to hear Pino's thoughts on this (the policy itself)
