Tweet URL:Got it in with Qx2c3c5x three ways. Flop came J34 two spades, giving me hope. 4 turn, 2 river, and I lose. Out 59th. Oh well. Never had above 73k.I'll be back tomorrow for the O8 mega satellite. #pfa04https://twitter.com/#!/x/status/1002805790997020674
Pretty much was card dead and unable to scoop pots for the final few hours.
Was able to hang around for awhile because in O8 you can keep spitting pots and stretch a short stack for a long time.
Brandon ran awful to start the day, and with a 19k stack coming in, he didn't have the cushion to absorb it. He busted awhile before the money.
First hour or so was with Adam Schwartz (our table broke quickly), who was right next to me. Very nice guy. He also didn't cash, though.
Other notables I played with included Chris Klodnicki (I busted him, didn't cash), Chris Vitch (Death Donkey, didn't cash), Ryan Laplante (barely min cashed), Jeremy Ausmus (November 9er, didn't cash), and Ray Davis (was still in when I busted).
Fans of Brett Richey's old crew will be happy to know that Matt Woodward (aka woodrow) was still in with good chips as of the time I busted, though he was never at my table. About 8 years ago, I really blew it regarding a prop bet with Matt. We were at a WSOP party, and he challenged me out of nowhere to a $20k match in Wii Baseball. Despite my being very good at the game, I assumed he had an angle, so I declined. Turned out he just loved gambling, and didn't realize I was good at it. He had little experience at the game himself. Would have been an easy $20k.
