I have my June trip just about all planned out. If I find myself not playing a final table on Friday before I Fly out Saturday I have decided to play a low stress $365 PLO8 at Binions and do the whole drunk Freemont street thing.
Seems like the Golden Nugget is the top property on sight. Anyone ever stay at any other the other properties? Wondering if it's worth the extra $125 to stay at the nugget or not.
I've stayed at the Plaza on my first ever trip to Vegas. Never again, although I heard they did an extensive renovation. Best place to valet a car downtown though, IMO.
I had a buddy & his wife stay @ 4 Queens & was in their room & it seemed okay. They had nothing bad to say about it either.

Vic and Anthony’s is anreally awesome steakhouse at GN. The itislian place ther has really good thin crust pizza. And chart house is good seafood.
Hugo's Cellar in 4 Queens is also highly recommended by me if you're with your lady.

I did a one night stay at the D and it was not bad at all.
My wife likes the D.

Vic n Anthony's steakhouse pretty good, especially for downtown.
As far as the Nugget, make sure they don't put you facing over the street, or it's going to be really noisy, especially if you face the church, which you will hear if you are close the end of the LONG hallway.
