On the Ringer NFL pod Lombardi went hard at Hue Jackson for that coach meeting. He remarked that that is pretty much the opposite of what a good head coach should do to make sure him and his assistants are on the same page. He also commented on the irony a lot of the coaches he was talking down when he was lecturing them about not knowing how things were from his perspective are former failed head coaches with better records than he has had as a head coach.

Lombardi is pretty much retarded though. His old blue-chip pods with BS were embarrassing. Dude barely knew the names of half the guys in the league anymore. That was right after he got fired from being the Browns GM.

In defense of Hue, Haley and Gregggggggg as your two coordinators has to just be fucking hell to deal with.

I am not going to make sports bets off of Lombardis analysis (a couple years ago bill Simmons admitted he was actually doing this and I know he lost a lot of $$ because the takes were so bad).

That being said I think Lombardi does a pretty entertaining job of giving insight into basic Xs and Os stuff and more generally life in the nfl behind the curtain, and I enjoy listening to his pods 1-2 hours/week in season.
