    Cheap jew question

Going to milwaukee for a Kenny Chesney show saturday (wife likes him)

I called Miller park and the women told me they have about 300 sand bar tickets left (right up front) they are $252 each
On stub hub during the week they were $175 but are now selling for more than the venue is selling them for.

    what's my play?

I'm not understanding the question here.

Are you asking if you should attempt to buy extra and sell them for a profit on Stubhub?

The answer is no, because Stubhub charges 23% fees.

Or are you simply looking to get the tickets cheaper than $252 each?

You might want to just gamble and wait until the day of the event, and then grab tickets heavily discounted by panicky sellers.

That will only work, though, if there isn't super high demand for the concert. Sometimes it can backfire and you'll end up paying more. It's kind of a gamble.

Is your wife willing to make this gamble (to where you might not end up in the front, or possibly pay more for the same thing), or will she be pissed if you try to game this and lose?

She wants to be close and tbh I do too but no she wouldn't be pissed.
I think I may gamble and wait. What would you do? Looks like all the tickets on stub hub have sold. Why the fuck would people b buying on stub hub for at least equal price when they could just buy from the venue?

Concerts are very hit-and-miss on Stubhub, regarding being able to get Jew value out of sellers.

I think it's because there tend not to be as many seats people want to sell (unlike sports where people have season tickets), so the demand is often higher than the supply. You'll even find oddball situations where people are listing tickets for higher than is still available from the venue itself, and somehow they sell.

Other times you really will get a bargain on the day of the concert, when panicky sellers drop their prices just so they're not left with tickets they can't use.

I've become an expert on working Stubhub for maximum value regarding the Dodgers, but for concerts I've never been able to get it quite right. I actually kinda fucked up regarding Tom Petty when he was in LA (positive word-of-mouth on social media made prices spike on the final 2 days, which I didn't expect), and I didn't end up going. Then he died. Oops.

How much should he have to pay for that?
It's hilarious that we as a society think everyone can be a dr, a lawyer, an engineer. Some people are just fucking stupid. Why can't we just accept that?

Sad state of affairs when these people would rather talk about their niggardly ways, over the word of God.

Buying a ticket for $250 and getting a BJ out of it is a lot better than paying $1,000.

I saw Chesney in Vegas many years ago and thought it was a fantastic show. Would do it again.

Have fun. My parents go to country fest at Gillette stadium every August, which is headlined by him. They always have a great time.

I think that concert is usually the event with the most arrests almost every year at gillette.

I've never been, country music isn't really my scene. But yes, I've heard that it is a complete shit show.
