Gaslit
Take the verb "gaslight." ... "Gaslighting" is used to describe abusive behavior, specifically when an abuser manipulates information in such a way as to make a victim question his or her sanity. Gaslighting intentionally makes someone doubt their memories or perception of reality
This should be one of the biggest stories in the US right now but it’s already been memoryholed because you know why.

The bigger crime is how she doctored her campaign photo to look both attractive and under 350 pounds.
I don't know about you, but she looks CREEPY in her Campaign Photo to me. Her Campaign Photo is a bad picture and she looks Demonic or something. In her Mugshot she looks like she has TWO black eyes. Both bad pictures although the Mugshot has an excuse to be a bad photo. The Campaign Photo has NO excuse to be a bad photo. Campaign Photos should be your BEST photos, not BAD photos.
'Stacy Abrahms fakes kidnapping for sympathy votes' would've been better title.
In college, there was a hugely contentious race for County Supervisor, of all things. It was a nonpartisan race, but one candidate was clearly a Republican and one was clearly a Democrat.
I heard from Master Scalir that the Democratic candidate was having a pizza party open to the public, so I showed up to his rally just to leech free pizza. I had never seen a pic of the guy before, and when I walked in, his campaign photo was plastered everywhere. They guy looked around 30. Anyway, you can imagine my shock when a guy in his 60s walked in and identified himself as the candidate. He was actually using a campaign photo from the 1960s, which upon further examination, made sense because the hairstyle in the pic looked like circa 1965.
Despite the free pizza, I voted for the conservative guy, who won by 2 votes. That meant that had I voted for fake pic guy, it would have been a dead tie. It felt good for my vote to matter.
I don't think the picture worked, or the fake kidnapping: https://www.gofundme.com/f/belcher4mayor2020
