I am a lifetime winner at scratchers. As hard as this is to believe... it's true. So the most likely scenario for this to be the case is to have a small sample size. The other is to hit a jackpot (assuming those actually exist). Anyway I found myself down to my last two bucks tonight and I REALLY wanted to hit big on a scratcher. Of course I lost my two bucks on one two dollar scratcher called an "Ace In The Hole"

Always felt scratchers were stupid because they are very low EV (something like 50% return) and you aren't going to hit a monster payout.

If you're going to throw away $ on the lottery, do it on the lotto.
