When a "PM" comes in it's hard to become aware of it because "Notifications" lights up and blends in with the dark blue background -- (at least from my memory i think that's what happened.)
maybe if there was a smaller lighter shaded blue box bordering the upper right "Menu" buttons..... or if you increased the Font Size slightly of those menu buttons ----> [Welcome, "name", Notifications, My Profile, Settings, Log Out]
or if when a PM comes in something unmistakeable drops down......something that can't be missed

i'm starting to get better at noticing when PM's come in but this is one of the more difficult message boards for doing so.... i think it's the small font size and the fact that it's so close to the top.......
at the.... errrr, other site (DD) the PM notification is more towards the middle of the top center --- it's easier to see

Do you think there would be enough interest to create a sub forum dedicated to advantage gambling of all kinds?
I am of the opinion that casino operators are in the business of exploiting weak minded or otherwise flawed people and fostering addiction in them till they have lost every penny to their name and have maxed out all their borrowing power. They claim they are merely offering an entertainment option, like going to the movies. Im not buying it, how many people lose their savings and family because they go to the movies or another form of entertainment too much? They are happy to take advantage of people in this fashion, but if you have the temerity to actually learn to gain an edge on them, without cheating mind you, they will restrict you or ban you outright. This irks me to no end. They want to have their cake and eat it too!
Its a fact that your insurance will not cover treatment for gambling addiction until you are completely busto.
The above is why the idea of turning the tables on the casinos and beating them out of money really gets my juices flowing. That, and I like doing things that most people think are not possible. So, I am not interested in doing this to make a lot of money, though that would be nice obv.I consider it a success if I gambled with an edge, win or lose.
While I avail myself of all the resources I know about regarding this topic, I am nowhere near an expert at any of the methods yet. I envision this sub forum to be a place where people can exchange info and ideas as well as discuss promotions and things like that which can tip the odds in your favor.
