Not that the Giants don't have their own issues at the moment.
But at the moment...
- Kenley Jansen is "off" in some way
- Kershaw isn't terrible, but also isn't pitching like himself
- No Justin Turner
- Brandon Morrow defected to Cubs, and Dodgers haven't replaced him with anyone comparable (lol Tom Koehler, injury or no injury)
- The rest of the bats are asleep
- Dave Roberts doesn't realize that Chase Utley should be a coach somewhere and has no business starting a Major League ballgame
To be fair, Dodgers did nothing in the offseason except acquire Matt Kemp in a mutual salary dump, because they wanted to get under the salary cap.
This is pretty much a "coast on what we already have and hope to at least go deep in the playoffs" year, rather than a "try to get over the World Series hump" year.
Not sure what the Giants are doing with all of these signings of over-30 players, given that their lineup is already old.

Pretty sure he's asking if the "sweep" portion of the bet counts as it's now only a 2 gamer. I could be wrong though.

I took the rough end last year. This is just a friendly bet I will make it no matter how good or bad the team is, I think druff feels the same way.
