A blackjack player card counting commits a thought crime at the Frontier Casino in 2003. Phil Ruffin, the owner of Frontier at the time now owns Treasure Island and have received heat while playing its great double deck game there. Was with my wife and we played as a team recently. Both played the $10 table minimum and if the count went south, I'd drop out and she played out the deck(s). When the count shot up, we bet $50 each for a 1-10 spread. Won a little over $1000 and the pit boss had to get three inches from my face to send a message. Casinos are cowards when we have witnesses, so no backroom for me. Maybe Ruffin still hassles solo card counters with backroom treatment from his security henchmen. So be careful at TI.
