I told you guys Druff wasn't racist.
The deli is a beautiful place. Now if you want the best of the best you're gonna want to get the real good Italian meats.
Copa - make sure you get a medium thin slice on this one
Prosciutto - now you're gonna want to ask for real thin slices here
Salami - the cut of the salami can go either way. Maybe you're like me and would like to eat the thing whole... thin slices are alright too
Mortadella - My personal favorite. Mortadella is to first class as bologne is to coach... and after all who doesn't like a good baloney sandwhich... amirite? Slice this one medium
I always go for a dutch crunch for the roll/bread
Now don't forget your pepperoncinis and pickles!
Ship it crucial
I used to spend my summers with my very very Jewish grandparents. They owned a pawn shop about 100 yards from the main gate of Fort Lewis in Tacoma, WA
My granfather would tell me that I had go get groceries with him because he needed me to carry the bags (this started at about the age of 5, and lasted until I was done with grad school). My grandmother would always yell as we were walking out the door "make sure he doesn't spend all our money"
Going to get groceries mean't going to the Jewish Deli. The old guy behind the counter was a good friend of Grandparents.
It always went the same way every time, and would take at least an hour.
Grandpa: how is that (while pointing into the case)
Old guy: Oh it's wonderful
Grandpa: But is it fresh?
Old guy: very fresh
Grandpa: Give me a taste
Old guy : slices a piece and hands to my grandpa
Grandpa: Oh that's good, but can I afford it?
Old guy: tells him the price
Grandpa: Oh that's steep...Give me a pound.
This would go on for at least 10 items, and for more than a half hour.
Plus at least a half hour of talking about family.
I would carry the bags into the house, and my grandmother would always say "I told you to not let him spend all our money" and give me a kiss on the cheek.

Always order by the LB or 1/2 lb etc.... Whether it lands a little over or under you should never complain. Just tell em to bag it
