Not so much
And let's be honest, what war have you ever won, besides the mop up job you did in WWII.
Too worried or disinterested to join the fray until absolutely necessary, when others were
ground down.
Fuck off
Dear LimitLes
So your are a historian now, eh?
How about the Cold War? You know, the one the rest of the free world has largely not participated in the paying for--as a result, Americans believe socialist Euro/UK commonwealth countries have money to provide social benefits to their residents that middle class Americans have to pay for themselves
also, don't reproach the US not being in the Euro Wars I & II until the 2nd half...Americans believe the US earned the right to stay out by twice fighting Britain...and despite getting soundly pummeled the US endured to win out in the end...since the War of 1812, the US has never lost wars on the battlefield, but has lost some wars of public/world opinion...
meanwhile, Canada chose to stick with Britain, and as a result, got pulled into both Euro wars at the outset--if Canada had had the courage and grit to step away from Britain, it would not have been obligated...then again, without Britain's protection, the US could well have included your pacific and prairie provinces in the manifest destiny land taking...
maybe some online extension courses at Queen's College?
