Ted Cruz wants you to know that Democrat Beto O’Rourke uses bad words
    http://theweek.com/speedreads/793890...uses-bad-words

Like that’s going to convince any voters who aren’t already in the bag for Cruz how “bad” Beto is for their “children”.

Cruz's strategy isn't to convince libtards to vote for him, his strategy is to energise his base of old white haired voters to show up to vote. Registered republicans outnumber registered democrats by a wide margin, and those republicans will be damned if some flimsy hippie with a beaner name is going to be their senator.......ted Cruz wins by atleast a million votes.....

Turnout by voter-registered Hispanics in Texas is typically very low (only about 25%). For Beto to upset Cuban-with-only-European-ancestors Cruz in November, the mostly-Mexican heritage Hispanics in Texas need to turn out to vote this fall by at least 10% more than that historical level. I've read elsewhere that Beto's campaign is aiming for 40% with the amount of on-the-ground outreach and organizing they are conducting and planning. But I wouldn't put it past the GOP and its allies in the Texas state government, as well as conservative dark money superPACs, to try every trick in the book this fall to try to suppress that turnout.

Yea fuck the fact that I am a "hispanic" in Texas.....listen to the guy with dirty nails........

"Hispanics" in Texas will always be divided by the abortion issue, why Ted Cruz isn't peddling that is beyond me, instead of saying they'll be tofu and blue hair in Texas if it turns blue, he should have said that they'll be an abortion clinic on every corner if Texas turns Democratic.

It seems to me that Cruz is throwing the race, and making back alley deals with Beetow....I will expand later...

Former Ted Cruz Campaign Strategist Has A Wake-Up Call For His Old Boss

Rick Tyler said that it’s entirely possible for Cruz to lose the Texas Senate race.
    https://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/us_5...b0162f472e853e

What once seemed unthinkable is now considered at least possible: Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) could lose his reelection bid to the Democratic challenger, Rep. Beto O’Rourke.

On Sunday, former Cruz campaign strategist Rick Tyler said his old boss may be in trouble deep in the heart of Texas as O’Rourke may pull off an upset win.

“It’s possible,” Tyler said on MSNBC.

Although Texas is such a red state, that doesn’t seem to be helping Cruz right now.

“It should be a 10- or 15-point race. It’s not. It’s a zero to 4-point race,” Tyler said. “And Beto O’Rourke is running an interesting campaign and he’s grabbed national attention. So it’s a race.”

Tyler resigned from Cruz’s 2016 presidential campaign at the candidate’s request after spreading a false report questioning the religious beliefs of Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.). At the time, Rubio and Cruz were both fighting for the Republican presidential nomination, which eventually went to future President Donald Trump.

According to The New York Times, White House budget director Mick Mulvaney reportedly told Republican donors at a closed-door meeting that Cruz may not be likable enough to win. In an audio recording of the meeting, which was obtained by the newspaper, Mulvaney alluded to Cruz, without mentioning his name.
The article also has a video featuring Rick Tyler discussing this matter on MSNBC’s States of Play.

A related video clip of MNSBC Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell from this past weekend is worth watching just for the clips of Trump and Cruz absolutely savaging each other during the 2106 GOP presidential nomination race:

El Paso, a city with a 70% Hispanic majority, has a relatively small Jewish community, estimated at 4,000, amid a population of some 862,000. But Jews are well represented on O’Rourke’s donor list, with local businessman Stephen L. Feinberg among the top contributors to his campaign.

O’Rourke, in a Facebook posting, tried to explain his vote. “I could not in good conscience vote for borrowing $225 million more to send to Israel, without debate and without discussion, in the midst of a war that has cost more than a thousand civilian lives already, too many of them children,” he wrote. He also stressed that wit
h an aid package for Israel up for a vote in two months, he felt no need to rush more spending without adequate debate when Congress was all but empty.

He's toast, wtf was he thinking even taking American interests into account. That's not how this game is played.

Fox News Reports That Fans Are Just “Furious” Willie Nelson Would Have a Rally With Beto O’Rourke
    https://www.motherjones.com/politics...-beto-orourke/

On Wednesday, music legend Willie Nelson announced he’d headline a rally for Democratic Rep. Beto O’Rourke, who is challenging Sen. Ted Cruz, at a Texas amphitheater later this month. According to Fox News, fans are absolutely “furious” that a pot-smoking, reincarnation-believing, environmentalist like Nelson would do such a thing.

“My wife Annie and I have met and spoken with Beto and we share his concern for the direction things are headed,” Nelson said in a press release announcing the concert. “Beto embodies what is special about Texas, an energy and an integrity that is completely genuine.”

Nelson shared the press release on his Facebook page, and according to Fox, “fans were taken aback” by the news, writing things like, “I’ve always thought you were a patriot but you have jumped the shark my friend,” or “Beto O’toole aka commrade O’Rourke is a step too far. Let me know when you come back from your bad acid trip. That is all.” Another commented, “Goodbye Willie, I don’t support socialist commies!”
Wow! Sounds like that fan was severely triggered. Else, he’s been asleep all the years he’s been a Willie Nelson fan.

One fan pointed out what we were all thinking: “It has been pretty obvious for a very long time that Willie Nelson is not a conservative.”

Nelson has in the past supported candidates like Ohio congressman Dennis Kucinich, Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, and once wrote a Trump-inspired song called “Delete and Fast-Forward.” Here are some of the lyrics:

    Delete and fast-forward, my son
The elections are over and nobody won
You think it’s all endin’ but it’s just settin’ in
So delete and fast-forward, my friend

    Delete and fast-forward the news
The truth is the truth, but believe what you choose
When we blow the whole world back to where it began
    Just delete and fast-forward again
    Oh! And can’t forget this...

The rally is scheduled for September 29.
    Anyone thinking of going?

Beta is his own man, Pelosi tells him how to vote and he only agrees with her 94% of the time....a true independent thinker.

The other 6% are mostly votes that pander to Texas.

    Check the he record.

Although Cruz is a ferret faced bitch....so there’s that.

For the same reason he ran a campaign ad saying Beto was for flag burning and played a clip of Beto talking about something completely different. Because Republicans only win when the lie, cheat and steal.
