That was a good one. Gotta give credit where it is due. I still don’t know how to give rep, but just add one to your score.
March 1-3 in southern CA, there is 2 inches of precipitation expected. It is very likely that this storm will actually come, and won't peter out.
Lows will be in the 30s in many areas.
This literally hasn't happened in decades. While rain mostly comes here in the winter, the clouds tend to cause the high and low to be right around the same, where usually it's like 57/50, so there's no chance of snow.
Here the rain will not be affecting the cold spell, and we will get those 30s lows which are usually only associated with clear nights.
It probably won't hit 32 on those nights, but snow can easily fall when it's 33-39, but just doesn't stick.
There is now the highest chance for LA snow that I've seen since it last happened in February 1989.
I told Ben every winter that one day it will finally come together where he will see snow fall at our house, and this is the best shot of it occurring since he's been alive.
Let's be honest, it snows everday in L.A.
Sorry to hear it's cold there druff.
Feels like -27.
Hope you're enjoying your 16 degree LA.
It was below freezing here this morning.
Went outside and saw ice on the grass.
Exciting stuff
It got down into the 40s, but no snow or ice here. I know you don't really like to talk about where precisely you live, can't really blame you with the stalker situations you have had, but I am going to guess you live in the Valley or possibly Ventura County at a higher elevation. I live at basically elevation = 0 (most Angelinos do) and it really isn't getting that cold here.
