I actually watch the Dr. Pierce videos that FPS posts, and although much of it is hateful garbage, he has some insights that we would be facing these kinds of issues down the road once we decided that the "American monoculture" is oppressive and racist and it needs to be burned down, and we should all be celebrating our differences instead. I think it is spot on that one of our problems is that all the focus is on how we are different, and we should be celebrating our differences, and we have lost our sense of community.
Of course it sounds good on paper that we can all be different, speak different languages, celebrate different religions, etc. and all live in peace and harmony, like a Star Trek episode. But the reality is that is not how we have evolved to behave at the individual or societal level, and I am extremely pessimistic it would ever work out.
Anyways, back to the point of Canada. Canada seems to be on a similar trajectory as the US, albeit a generation or two behind, as far as the people representing the dominant monoculture (Caucasian Christians of mainly English heritage) being demographically phased out. If Canada simultaneously pushes the PC narrative that this monoculture is oppressive and racists and needs to be destroyed, I expect the same fissions and divides to pop up in Canada as here.
Apologies in advance as it may set off some members of our forum, but here it goes.
Interestingly, every other (non-Western) society on Earth realizes the importance of having a strong monoculture to provide a sense of community, that is why no non-Western society really pushes the diversity narrative.

You do realize the the AR is basically like every other semi automatic rifle right? In fact, since it was all close ranage, he could have used as semi automatic pistol and caused just as much damage. Banning the AR wouldnt have stopped this as there are plenty of other weapons he could have used that would have been just as effective.
