I once made a fake "Amy Grant" account on a BBS. Popular Los Angeles morning radio hosts "Kevin and Bean" faked an on-air murder confession in 1991, and this wasted a lot of police time as they spent a lot of resources investigating it. Amazingly nothing too bad happened to the hosts, and they still have their jobs to this day! Anyway, about 6 months later these hosts were on a BBS taking questions, and everyone was giving them pathetic softballs. I created an account named "Amy Grant" to troll them with questions about the murder hoax. They tried to answer me, but when I kept the pressure on regarding wasting police resources and taking away from real cases, they just went into ignore mode. I chose the name "Amy Grant" because her music was the opposite of the edgy alternative music played on the station (KROQ).
