I'm continously perplexed why folks as financially savvy as yourself keep calling Bitcoin a Ponzi scheme? Named after a fraudster stock investment manager almost 100 years ago, it is, as Investopedia describes, "a fraudulent investing scam promising high rates of return with little risk to investors."

Please identify where it is written that an investment in bitcoin, in general, *promises* a high return "with little risk to investors"? And let's recall that the greatest Ponzi scheme in history to date was carried out by someone claiming to have a winning trading model in stocks that were registered with the SEC and trading on reputable regulated major stock exchanges.
This is fake news

We pray for understanding as we all occasionally request back door action by accident, when we tried to call an electrician. It happens, it simply happens.
Didn't twitter only recently fuck it up and start letting people tweet out a whole god damned paragraphs in one tweet? Even if you think Trump somehow wouldn't know how to spell Down Jones, shouldn't that massive block of words tell you that is no tweet from 2015?
But anyway I have a question nig nogs. If I set off looking do you think I could find more people that have never bought weed but truthfully support marijuana legalization or more people that have never bought bitcoin but truthfully support it as a currency and want to see it hold it's value? It would have to be close.
I don't like seeing BTC tank though. I mean all these guys late to the party that are gonna kill themselves over this is pretty damn depressing but from a rail birds perspective the absolute best stage of this Bitcoin stuff was when the price was like 17,000 and everyone that didn't have bitcoin came up with their own unique soundbite to try to justify to themselves why they didn't take like 10K and turn it into hundreds of millions... and how they made the right decision.
Like why can't there just be one fucking person that says, "wow I didn't think that bull shit would run up like that because of it's flaws. I sure wish I'd have taken 10K and it turned it into hundreds of millions though. I fucked that up."
I have like 100 problems to work through before I can get to problems to like this but I like to imagine what it must be like to be like to be someone normal and I'm pretty sure that's exactly what I'd say if I didn't buy...
I don't know the real me but let's make it extreme for arguments sake. Let's say the real me is super hateful, jealous, and overly concerned with the next niggas finances. Let's say he missed the boat on turning 10K into hundreds of millions and he hated it so bad how so many people became rich on something he missed out on. Let's say that the hatred got so out of hand that eventually his hate over missing out turned into hate for the individuals that bought them at 1-5 dollars when he could have easily done the same. Let's say that even hearing the word bitcoin sends him into panic attacks and violent outbursts. Let's say it's so bad that he's in therapy and they spend 90 percent of the time talking about why he has a private investigator following his wife because he "just knows" she's cheating on him with one of the guys that pulled the trigger on Bitcoin when it was worth 1-5 dollars...
Let's say it's all that and more. If a peer/friend/enemy asked when/if I got in on Bitcoin I would say, "Wow, I never saw that shit running up like that because of it's flaws. Believe me I sure wish I took 10K and turned it into hundreds of millions of dollars. I fucked that one up."
Even if I thought I was the best bullshitter of all time there is no way I could ever imagine I'd be able to sell it to anyone that I didn't turn 10,000 into 100,000,000 and that I was happy I didn't... Other than if I could sell it that I was morally against investing or some shit but I'm pretty sure every me gambools, even if there is a super intense/neat-freak/ridiculously organized me hovering the capstone of the hierarchy of needs pyramid as my total opposite I'd still bet he'd say it that way. Nothing else is believable.
