You are up 12 pre-market - but that don't mean much in my experience. GL
Market doesn't like uncertainty, it rallied because he resigned. Similar to how apple stock soared the day after Steve jobs died.
So there is talk about an activist investor breaking up Wynn and selling the parts. Parts are worth more than the whole

Foxwoods has an amazing capacity to fuck themselves. 2.1 billion is a huge chunk of change. They might get approval but it would be an MGM deal. For example, one analyst following the situation suggested that an activist could pressure Wynn Resorts to sell off its multi-billion-dollar Wynn Boston Harbor development project separately, a large resort set to open next year. He added that Mohegan Sun, a Connecticut casino, or Foxwoods Resort Casino, a hotel and casino complex, both based in Connecticut, could be interested in buying the Wynn Boston development.
I just knew this Casino would faceplant.
The epitaph will read, “The Boston Wynn was troubled from the start...”

"Donk down, that’s what you say to someone after they have lost 28K straight?" - Phil Hellmuth, online
Steve Wynn has played Santa Claus in the past, donating money to poor people in Las Vegas.
There have been rumors for years that Steve Wynn had sex with cocktail waitresses and other female employees and had fathered lots of children.
It would not surprise me if he has more than a dozen kids from fucking these women.
And Wynn is not the only one.
Frank and Lorenzo Fertilla who own Station Casinos and sold the UFC for $4 Billion.
They used to bring cocktail waitresses and other women up to their rooms at Palace Station all the time back in the 1980's and 1990's.
What casino owner hasn't fucked over their employees?
Creepy David Copperfield look
Does Zeke Miller even have to ask the police about Wynn or do the cops go as far as to call him up just to snitch?
Massage therapist sues Steve Wynn for grooming her for sex
http://www.nydailynews.com/news/nati...icle-1.3847975
A massage therapist filed a new lawsuit against Steve Wynn accusing the casino mogul of exposing himself, touching her inappropriately, and hounding her for sex.
The 49-year-old, identified only as “Jane Doe” in the lawsuit, said Wynn started booking regular massage appointments with her in 2011 — six years after she first started working at Wynn Resorts, according to court documents obtained by the Nevada Independent.
Wynn began “mentally and emotionally grooming” the masseuse by asking “calculated questions...to ensure he discovered any weaknesses he could exploit, such as her financial dependency on keeping her job,” the lawsuit alleges.
After Wynn learned the massage therapist would soon become a single mother once her divorce was finalized, he began purposefully removing the cover towel to expose his genitals, according to the complaint.
Wynn also showered in front of the therapist and forced her to perform sexual acts approximately a dozen times over the course of a year, the lawsuit states.
He would also touch her legs and body without her consent, sometimes “placing his hands on or near Plaintiff’s vaginal area,” she alleges.
The alleged victim said she feared she would be fired if she failed to comply with Wynn’s demands, although she consistently objected to his advances and rebuffed his “innumerable verbal propositions for sex,” according to the lawsuit.
Wynn would then tip the therapist $1,000 after each appointment, which took place in his office while a personal security guard stood outside with dogs that were trained to attack on command.
In addition to telling her not to speak of his alleged misconduct, Wynn “through payment, intimidation, and/or duress, sought to prevent [THE MASSEUSE]” from seeking remedies against him, she said.
The masseuse, who said she feared going to work as a result of Wynn’s advances, also accused the company and its directors of concealing their knowledge of the 76-year-old’s “proclivities” of sexual assault and harassment, the lawsuit states.
She is seeking damages in excess of $50,000 along with legal fees.
Wynn resigned as CEO of his company earlier this month after a Wall Street Journal report detailed the pattern of sexual misconduct allegations against him.
In Steve Wynn's mind, as long as you tip, it's not sexual harassment or rape.
Massachusetts just decided to extend their reexamination of Wynn Everett’s license application til end of Sept.
Mass is a very liberal state.....kept from the Massachusetts Gaming Commission information about the above-mentioned $7.5-million settlement paid by Mr. Wynn
I have had a small short of a basket of casino stocks for a while. As you know, I have preached the death of the big casino.
A somewhat decent replication of my position is reflected by the casino ETF BJK
Gotta love that double top. I would have loved it to break support here and WYNN would have been a nice crater.
2 year chart BJK
Kinda want to put the money to use elsewhere shorting some other stuff.
The economy has never been better. Full employment & cheap credit. Weak industry during good times. Room rates suck in Vegas and lol Macau.
It really didn’t occur to me to short the rise following the PASPA decision despite knowing sports betting has no material impact on casino earnings. Oh well.
You’re supposed to ride this weakness. The news about the gaming commission is really just a dot on the pitiful casino industry timeline tbh.
I blame too much caffeine.
I spent the night reading 13D filings. No normal human spends his free time that way.
The big money is the dumb money but when fat guys stumble and land on you on they can do damage.
I am right and they are wrong.
I don’t love this spot. I really needed Wynn to get fucked over here.
I respect the value of time in a trade more than anyone you know. I can see spinning my wheels waiting to be proved right.
I have the feeling I can get more immediate gains elsewhere.
On a really autist sidenote with respect to 13D’s, Robert Chapman’s (hedge guy) filing on his TSLA short made my night. Item 7 allows you to pretty much write an essay and it was pretty funny.
Shoulda saved it.
You can be right, and still be wrong.
Wynn continues to be a huge steaming pile.
The big firms are the dumb money more often than not.
Sorry for your loss.
I am on edge about the Massachusetts Gaming Commision decision. Kinda feeling all the bad news is already baked in.
Hard pressed to think of a dumber industry than casinos.
Did you catch Trump putting in a good word for Adelson during his visit to Japan? The President of the US lobbying for one of his biggest campaign contributors. Astounding but dwarfed by all Trump’s other craziness
