1. How come no one smokes joints anymore? Every snap I see, everyone that has some, it's either blunts or pipes usually. Is there something inferior about joints? I think aesthetically, joints look the best.
2. Why is it almost 100% of the time I've ever smoked weed, I got hella tired, ranging from, man I need to take a nap, to oh man I can't move and am so tired.

Indica is more of a body stone to me, sativa more of a buzz.
Last time I did weed it gave me a horrible panic attack. I legit felt like I was gonna die and then started sobbing uncontrollably. And it was the legal kind. Never again.
I know, I know, I did the wrong strain or whatever.

1. joints can be great, but bowls you can hit and quit for a few, without the constant burning. Blunts are a whole nother choice with tobacco. I can dig it, it just wasn't what I grew accustomed to. Hard to argue against joints being the most aesthetically pleasing, they just might not be the mot situationally pleasing given the crowd and the room.
2. you smoked the wrong shit, or the shit you grew accustomed to smoking was indica, the most likely of scenarios.. The first time you have a full sativa, or that affects you like a sativa, you'll begin to understand. After 3-4 times mostly sativa, you'll have a better idea of what you want in the future.
I think I went years before I ever smoked a sativa. Its still an occasion when i get a strong sativa.
Once you get acquainted/honest with the effect, those are the best highs.
1) In legal markets joints are huge sellers. HUGE!!! I see a lot of people smoking joints on IG, while the most popular thing to do online is dabs, I do see a lot of joint pics and vids. Maybe it’s a Florida thing with no joints, don’t know. All I can tell you is we can’t make enough of them, they sell like crazy.
2) You are getting strains that are heavy in a terpene called Myrcene, which is indicative of being in indicas.. Myrcene causes that tired feeling known as couch lock, and most black market growers tend to grow indicas because of the short flowering time (8 to 9 weeks usually as opposed to sativas which are anywhere from 9 to 16 weeks) and the fact that they give you couch lock considering most stoners associate that feeling with being “wasted”.
First time this happened to me I freaked out, we call this 'greening out' in my part of the world.
Still happens to me every now and then but no way near as bad as it did 20 years ago. I've found the best thing to do is stimulate your taste buds and it goes away quickly, something sour works wonders.

PLOP, I saw your edit. Edibles can be dangerous if you eat too much, which honestly can be very little, especially the first time. This is all too common. Person buys edibles from an uneducated source, eats too much, has a bad experience and swears it off for good. With a little education on the products you could definitely be shown a different light, but again, it’s not for everyone.
I don’t agree with my friend krypt about being mentally weak, again edibles can be brutal if you eat too much.
