Oh and I made $7k at 5/10 yesterday and then took the Jags to win outright
Won 105k last Saturday night at aria and then lost 150k Sunday . They comped all my food and drink though !!!
Lol @ comps . It is almost insulting when you are betting a certain amount. Your host gives you a call “ I am going to go ahead and take care of those charges . “ thanks dickhead I am hungover and your scum voice just made me more hungover . Thank you for “ taking care “ of my several 100 dollar meals , mini bar and a room that would be most likely be vacant if I wasn’t in it .
Hosts are complete bottom feeders .

I have never had a host, but I was contacted by a Las Vegas Host once. I lost a lot of money one weekend at Ballys (a lot of money for me,not cmoney nosebleed stakes). I got a letter a couple weeks later from a 'host' saying I could get a a weekend comp'd with steak dinners and gambling credits. I laughed and tossed the letter, I was still steamed about losing such a huge chunk. A week went by and I got another letter from the same guy. This time it said, "Does anyone like MMA?" It was hand written with a picture of some MMA fighter, a sport I don't follow. I got a couple more letters and I assume he just gave up.
My fear of ever accepting a comp from a host is they pressure you to gamble and I might just go off on someone bothering me to gamble every couple hours. Especially if I were down two or three grand and got a call where was I at.
I actually had a host yell at me once and then I trolled them to add to their misery. It was at the Wynn a few years ago. First off, hosts memories are only as good as your last visit. Unless you are a huge whale, they dont care you lost 50k one trip then lost 5k the next trip and now you are coming back . In their minds , you lost 5k last trip and the 50k the few trips back barely registers with them. It very well might matter with rewards programs but a host doesnt give a shit. They want to know what your losing potential is now. Also, the Wynn is EXTREMELY hard to get comps at. No idea why but hosts wont call you unless you got a 100k credit line and even then you are getting a fruit basket. So anyway, I was sick of gambling at the Wynn but knew i had a big score last time I was there (250k or so) . I fired an email to the host asking if I could get a villa for 3 nights thinking no chance this is going to happen. To my surprise , I not only got comped the villa but everything else (food , drink blah blah). It should be noted that there is no chance I get this villa if it was peak season or the weekend. I think it was in February early in the week. For the weekend you probably need a mil credit line for them to consider you.
At any rate, I had no intention of gambling at all at the Wynn and decided to gamble at the Palazzo. I figured I would have an amazing time at the Wynn's expense and then build up comps as Palazzo which everyone knows is quick walk.
After 48 hours, I get a text message asking why I am not gambling, the host went out on a limb for me etc etc. I told him i could not gamble at this establishment because "check in" took to long. He kept telling me that was no excuse, he was going to get fired, etc. I just kept writing "check in took to long" over and over again until he finally called to scream that I never contact him again. I have done that to a few other places as well and it is actually a good strategy. If you went on a heater at a place, and are kind of sick of it, just use them for the rooms and play somewhere else to get comps. I dont gamble nearly as much as i used to (couple times a year) so I have pretty much settled into the MGM because of all the options.
NEVER FEEL BAD FOR HOSTS. THEY ARE NOT YOUR FRIEND. THEY ARE TOTAL SCUM.

Recently won 350$ for first place, PFA Death Pool 2017.
Still awaiting payment from Druff obv.
The Rampart was fun last nite. Played a lightning link. Started with $100 and cashed out after bonus for over $250. Decided would play it till it took $100. Proceeded to hit bonus again again and again. 4 times cashed out over $200. Then it took $100 so moved on. The wife hit video keno for $200 and $400 ($100 investment each time)
it was 5x points and we ended up earning $190 in comps so we now have a few meals paid for for this trip. The plan tonite is the Orleans for 11x points to earn more free meals thru the month. Report to follow
While this is nowhere recent, actually going back to 2005, right after Katrina. I was at the Mississippi Biloxi casino the weekend it opened after Katrina. I was unfortunately driving through and needed a hotel and the ONLY reasonably priced hotel that was not destroyed was in Biloxi at the casino. The fucking coastline was totally destroyed.
I got my room for like $85 a night and it stunk like mold, but it was freezing outside as it was November so it did not smell that bad. As cold as it was outside, inside the casino was burning up, it must have been 90 degrees in there, their whole HVAC system was not working obviously.
I was still new to gambling I had only been playing online poker maybe a year or two, but never been in any more than 2 or 3 casinos in my life. I walked by a game called 3 Card Poker. I had never heard of the game at the time and some lady was trying to explain it to me, but it was some damn hot and crowded I was not even paying attention, I was just trying to find a black jack table that was not three deep.
Anyway, I dropped like 3 $25 chips and the dealer informed me I lost each time. I had maybe $500 in chips left and I just threw down a black chip as it was so hot I just wanted to get out of there. 2-3-4 clubs followed and there were literally gasps on the table. I had not idea what was happening until the pit was called over and they stacked $5,000 in front of me. I was like WTF. I burned up all the chips later than evening. It does not matter, best gambling moment of my life because it was so unexpected.
I won $1340 in a $.50/$1 home game Saturday night. When is the last time you won 1340 BB in one session?
Its plays like a 2/5 game id say, maybe bigger late in the night. 5 game rotation- NLHE, NLO, NLO8, NL Pineapple, NL crazy Pineapple. Usually after a few revolutions we throw out NLHE and play NL Big O
It's hilarious that we as a society think everyone can be a dr, a lawyer, an engineer. Some people are just fucking stupid. Why can't we just accept that?
that was a sizzling story
About circa 2005 in a home game, I won $1,400 in a 1-2 game. The owner got so pissed he said I could not crash on his couch. This was before GPS and I had to drive my way out of a subdivision I had never been in my life. It was a massive subdivision and I was hammered and it was 3am. I eventually found my way out after 20 minutes and ended up in the first hotel I could find, AN ECONO LODGE!!! $39.95, It was beautiful, ants all over the shower in the morning. Hardest bed of my life, still slept to 11am though when the maid was banging on my door saying I would be charged an extra day if I was not out by noon.

While we are on the subject of this, I want to say totally uncoherced that I have been doing business with MJL (MintJewlips) for some time now and he has been nothing but honorable, forthright, and steadfast in our financial transactions. And I am talking about dealings well into the thousands.
Good day.

Similar story. Was on a cruise ship and the wife wanted to sit by the pool On a sea day. Went to the casino looking for a 1-2 game on the poker pro machine but there were no other players. Put down $200 on the three card table and basically stumbled through the next 4 hours playing 5-5-5. At 4 hours and 1 minute my wife come up behind me and is fairly pissed off because we need to meet my parents for dinner in 20 minutes. I got $160 in front of me and I go 60-50-50 blind dealer calls "green action" like it's a big deal.....
Wake up to 9s-10s-Js...... I never touched the cards.
Took at least 20 minutes to payout. They called the big boss down. Wanted to know why I changed it up all of a sudden from 5-5-5 to all in.... both me and the dealer had to explain that my now very excited wife was pissed and that it was time to go. Told them to go to the camera and that I never so much as touched the cards. All together it was a $3,000 score give or take a few bucks.
They ended up pulling the dealer away.... can't imagine he was in trouble but it sure seemed like they were pissed.
Stopped my the pursers desk after dinner and completely paid off the trip and had a half a pocket of cash left over. Ended up getting an offer for a weeks cruise the next month for $149 per person in a balcony, but I passed because of school for my kid.
