This is going to be a brag thread.

Tell about the greatest hand or hands you ever played. Maybe you made a soul read and called. Maybe you made a huge fold. Tell us how it went down. I will post mine shortly but I have 2, one involves a very large 2-5 NL pot where I made a soul read. The other is a hand that I feel got my mojo going on my way to a final table at the WSOP.

took a real stupid shot at 250 500 limit on party poker. not too many unreal hands just standard poker...(a few pots over 5k) by far the best hands i ever played because they were the biggest. I can actually remember playing doyles room against one of teh site pros..i wanna say it was alex torelli for some reason...we were playing 5 10 nl (another dum shot by me) anyhow i missclicked with 87 in my hand there was an 8 on the board...turn 8 river 7 i win the pot for like 18 hundred. the guy had big pair too....i would have cried had i lost lol

Not really a soul read, but I had the guy pegged from the get-go: 5-5 Live PLO both super-deep: I have QQXX flop Q-J-J, had the guy on a hand like AJXX pre-flop, knew it for certain post-flop. unfortunately he thought he was cute and was trying to slowplay me, he spiked the Ace on the river and it all finally went in. think it was a $2,500 pot, largest live cash pot I've ever won.

Ill do best hand to date, biggest suckout/loss, and sickest soul read.

Best hand to date I was 18 years old playing in a bar tournament and busted but there was a 1/2 NL cash game going on, no min buy in no max buy in. I buy in for 100 and run it to 350ish when my JJ beat AK. Guy sees I have a lot of chips and buys in for 500, and a female who bought in for 200 but doubled up so they both have me covered. I am in SB with J10 of clubs, raise to 10, button, bb and I call. flop 789 all clubs so I flopped the nuts. I checks, bb check, raiser checks, button bets 20, I call, BB calls,raiser folds. turn was the 2 of clubs putting the 4th club out there. I check, bb checks, button bets 50, i call, bb raises to 150, button pushes, i call, bb calls.

Button- 56 of clubs
SB(ME)- J10 of clubs
BB- Ax of clubs.

scooped a 993 dollar pot. River was a black king cant remember what suit.

Worst beat-
21st birthday, about 2:30 in the morning. Playing my first NL cash game in a casino. Playing 2/5 NL have about 2k in front of me. Pick up 44 from mp limp call a raise preflop. FLOP 944, someone bets, I call, turn A, i bet he raises i go all in (he has me covered) i turn my 44 over he turns over 99, hits a 9 on the river. Dealer says too bad that didnt happen 3 hours ago or you would have won 22k in a bad beat jack pot. Casino gives me 500 cash, dude I lost the hand to gave me 1k it was pretty sweet bought back in and finished with a 21 dollar profit that night.

Sickest soul read. Final table of the Madison Poker Championship rebuy event. it was a 50 dollar rebuy and winner got 12k I am 6th of 9. 9th pays 900. Folds to me in sb I have A2 suited, I have 22k in chips at 1000/2000/50 blind level chip leader is in the BB with 120kish I raise to 6K preflop to try and steal it. He just calls. 444 flop, i check, he checks turn K, i check he checks, river Q i check he pushes. you only have 45 seconds to make your decision and i used all of them, ended up calling and he had j10 so i doubled up t 42k ended up taking 4th for 2900. This hand started a downfall for chipleader 9 handed he ended up busting 9th

SB folds, BB folds, UTG takes like 5 minutes to call, Hi jack calls,
So I'm like UTG either has me beat already or has an As for a draw.

@ this point I just want to get to the river cheap as possible.

River Ad check check I just say I have a flush,
UTG jumps out of his seat "HOW DO YOU NOT BET THAT?" he shows As2s I'm like "if you didn't hollywood, I would have, and your just lucky a 6s didn't hit." and then the HiJacks says "Yup, If the 6s hit I would've hit a straight flush" HE HAD THE 9s8s.
So turns out I flopped a flush, no one improved, and I ended up w/ the 3rd best hand, and & if the 6s hit for a straight flush, I'd have been walking out of the place. Crazy game sometimes.

most are just hands where i went crazy and got lucky. one hand sticks out tho. $1500 wsop event few years ago. last hand of the night. Reading the HH again the call pre is pretty bad. That hand needs a miracle flop to win any kind of decent pot of this guy, and its a bad idea to chase miracles with 35 bbs or whatever I had. The fold on the river was pretty awesome tho. One of those folds that I'd never make online, but I had the "hes old so hes never bluffing here" tell and folded my flush with only 20 bb's or whatever I had. This was probably the only hand in my life that I have ever truly tanked. That same small bet that I used against the old guy to figure out where I am at, I would use against a young aggressive guy to induce a bluff. Copy and pasted the hand below how I typed it up back then.

The very last hand of the night I pick up 54cc in the BB. 500-1000 blinds. Guy bumps it to $2700 from early/middle position. Folds around to me. I tell myself "just fold here, and call it a night. it was a good day." But then I think better of it and tell myself "SetofKs doesn't fold 54cc from the BB." Anyway I call and flop coms K63 with 2 clubs. My plan is to checkraise all in on this guy's face, but when I check he checks, WTF???? Turn brings 3 of clubs. I bet $9000, he smooth calls WTF????? River blanks.Im confused, so I bet 4500 in part to see where im at, and in part because if his hand has any kind of show down value he'll call and if I bet much bigger he wont call with a worse hand. He moves all in. 20,000 more for me to call, I have 24.5k. I tank, fold 54cc face up, and say please show me what you had.

The day 2 tables were completely redrawn from day 1, thats the only reason I show, and because I figure since they will be new tables he may be nice and show me. Some guy says "I folded K3" so I say to myself "fuck, that means he didnt have KK, I prolly had him" but he says "since we wont be playing together tommorow anyway i'll show" and he shows A8cc. Lucky I folded, the taxi ride to the rio would've been depressing tommorow knowing I would have to play with a 4k stack in 600-1200 blinds. Also lucky he showed, because I wouldn't have been able to sleep tonight if he hadn't.
