About a year ago, I incorrectly posted on this forum that infamous chip flusher, Christian Lusardi,
had been released from prison early, after serving only approx. 6 months.
I was wrong, or rather, I took the info I had found too literally: he was released, however, it was only that he was released from a state prison facility. He was scheduled to be (and seems to have been) transferred to a federal prison in 2016.
FAST FORWARD 1 YEAR AFTER MY POST:
According to a record search on the Bureau of Prisons, Christian Lusardi is actually no longer behind real bars:
...he's located at the Philadelphia RRM. An RRM is a "Residential Reentry Management facility", aka the term used by the U.S. Bureau of Prisons for a halfway house.
Since he was sentenced in Oct, 2015, and assuming he's been out of the slammer for a few months...that's only around 2 years time in a real lockup. FOR THIS:
- Chip flushing that caused a HUGE headache for participants in that tourney and the staff/casino as well. A real disaster.
- Selling thousands of pirated DVDs
He's scheduled to be released from the halfway house in about 6 months as well. Pretty easy sentence for that crime in the end.
DISCLAIMER: I am only posting what you can find yourself at the Bureau of Prisons website. If I've somehow screwed this up again, and he is still in lockup, my apologies in advance.
