I'm pretty sure Mercier has 100% of himself 90% of the time. Guy had so many sponsorships he was getting paid to just show up. He also stakes like a zillion people. One of his horses took down an event early in the WSOP. I believe he had 50% of the guy which would have been about 300k if I remember correctly.

Any idea where this occurred? Does he know why? Was it about money, or did they just want to beat him up?
I could see it being about money because he just won $10 million, so perhaps they thought he was carrying a lot on him and it was a mugging.
But I'm wondering where this happened. Did he get attacked in the Rio? Outside of it? Perhaps in a club, celebrating his $10 million win at the One Drop?
