    Cryptocurrency scams

Hello, everyone. First post here. Todd knows me,,kinda, posted at him on Twitter to buy some Bitcoin the other day. Hopefully he listened. Anyway, I am an occasional listenener of the show. It's too long. I listen to parts of the show. More crypto talk and I will listen more.

Anyway, so I built a little site, which I am not sure I can post it. Easy to find with a google search and I built what looks like a very simple site, but is actually kind of like a money machine. If I can scale it, could actually provide me with a decent wage. Just over 3 months since building the site and the response is really good. No ads, no script mining, lightweight pages running a supercache ... because grinding faucets is a pain. There's all kinds of pop ups, and windows you have to close and reopen, etc. so, my site makes it easier. I make money on referrals only. So, my aim is to gain a reputation as the goto place for noobs. You would feel safe sending grandma to my site, and I don't list anything that I think even MIGHT be a scam. Like Bitconnect.

That being said, I listed a cloud mining site, called it a scam, and got referrals anyway. So I am building a "Scams" page where I can dump links I think are scams. My father is a retired law prof, so I think I have a pretty good idea about how to word things when calling people scammers, but I am also looking for people that have storries they want to tell regarding Bitcoin, or other cryptos and scams.

    Thanks for looking.

Sounds interesting, tell us more. Detailed stuff like your back round in crypto, poker and all round game. Do you need a stake?

Google: Richard Heart and "poker is stupid"

Uh, my card playing history is very long. Poker, Hearts, Spades, Gin. I have played semi-professionally, part time, live, low stakes. Hard to call me a pro, but the lat 3 years at least I have made a small profit. I used to play online a little, Stars and Full Tilt. I actually know some pretty important people in poker ... but that doesn!t matter. I don't really play anymore.

I found a way, I can give money back to people, and I also make money.

Pretty new to crypto, but an old, school nerd. Took to it like a fish to water. I was aware of Bitcoin, amd Ethereum for years, but knew the road would be bumpy, kinda kept my eye on it and bought in this summer when BTC was at $3600.

Done quite a bit of diversification since then, mand have more BTC than I started with. Have some Neo, collecting gas, have some BTX getting airdrops, other ways I am growing my crypto portfolio every day.

Yeah, I'm an old school nerd. Back in the day, I "invested" aka "gambled" a lot of money on AAPL calls. I was right, but my timing was off, and I lost it all. Education and professional experience is in branding and design. I have a MS from NYU. Half jewish.

So you went from gambling on stock options to gambling on crypto. Make sure you cash out before the music stops. I am exclusively playing with house money because one day I know I will wake up and see the equivalent of Black Friday for cryptos.

    I'm 47, so I've done a lot of things.

I used to work for Playboy, 20 years ago. Long story. I have worked for the biggest ad agencies and publishers in the world, as a graphic artist. In my past life. I taught at a college, for a period of time,as well.

I'm trying to build a brand in this space. Don't want to be a youtube schmuck.

My first stock purchase ever was AAPL at like $17 a share or whatever it was in 1996. $500 got me 30 shares. If I had held that, all these years, I would have done very well. But I was young, I got cleared to trade options, and I wasn't patient.

I was right though. I was effing right.

The banking system is just like Full Tilt. Bernie Sanders put it well, the "business model of Wall Street is fraud."

Enter a borderless, deflationary, international currency, not controlled by any government or corporation?

    I'm all in.

But I used my poker profits to buy in, that is correct.

    Lol at steaked.

Playing 1/2 at the crappy little casino near where I live. Cut my hourly in half, make like $3 an hour.

If I move back to Vegas and someone wants to put me in a 2/5 game ... Short term steaked, I might think about. I dunno. Just not feelin it anymore. Bored with poker.

You need to first get a job with C$ in NY, he will pay well then stake you in Vegas, Audi to drive, sleep at Drex's house and comp'd lobster mac and cheese all day.

Sound crazy? Its all very real apparently, very real.

It will end however with you borrowing $80.

Same experience with my buying lot and lots of puts on Caesars when it was around 22-23. I was right, so right, but ultimately even though I was right, I was wrong.
