Just started watching it and im on the 8th episode of the first season. Watching it on Amazon Prime.
Pretty fucking good all around IMO. I love the early 1900's type gangster/prohibition type of flicks. Nice to see Buscemi in there with the lead role; I kinda have a soft spot for him so its great to see him progress.
Any opinions on this series? . I didnt see a thread about it so I thought id ask. Oh, and please don't give spoilers.

It's amazing how Many shows think they can kill off a major character and junk the show can survive. Pitt may very well have been a gigantic asshole but they ruined the show.
If you want to watch a shitty pseudo mob show with a shitty plot and characters you should watch / rewatch the sopranos
if you tilt your head just right while watching BE, you can see hints of the ego and hubris that would later derail the production of Vinyl.

watch it as long as you enjoy it but it takes a pretty big nose dive eventually, quality wise.

That sucks. I hate starting to binge watch shows only to realize shit like this happens.
Found an article from a few years ago that basically said that Pitt was killed off because he was esentially a loser on-set and everyone was sick and tired of his fuckups (not showing up, forgetting lines etc...)

I really enjoyed the show. Every season offered something different. I also appreciated how they ended it. One of the best imo.
