That is patently absurd that small Mac and cheese is basically the equivalent of two entrees. $108 give me a break. That is just wasting money, a couple chunks of crab mixed in with some noodles and cheese. I am a millionaire and I can't even justify that regardless of the occasion.

Honestly I can't believe nobody asked the price before ordering. When you're told that there's an item "not on the menu" and that it's "special", you need to ask the price.

Also, they probably could have gotten some of that taken off the bill, as it really was the server's duty to warn them that they were getting an "appetizer" which costs over $100.

Too bad you're not as much of a baller as Bottomset, and still have to ask how much appetizers cost.

This would make sense & maybe be somewhat humorous if Scandinavian Bob hadn't already been on record as stating that there is nothing wrong with asking the price.

If i was short on money and I had a friend who extended their amazing generosity and insisted on paying, the LAST thing I would be doing is taking advantage and ordering some LOL priced obscure dish...not to mention not even bothering to ask how much it would cost SOMEONE ELSE. Much like you need to beware of businesses which primarily take insurance customers when you're paying out of pocket, you need to beware of pricing at casino restaurants which are used to taking comps.

Often the pricing is inflated, and off-menu items like the Lobster Mac are especially jacked up.

A good example is the Old Homestead Steakhouse at Caesars. Nothing wrong with it, and it's fairly good. However, it is substantially more expensive than other prime steakhouses, and for no good reason other than the fact that they're located in Caesars and most of their clientele is paying with comps. So I avoid it unless I'm comped myself.

I do appreciate that most of you thought I paid. Had I wanted to pay for it, I would. But let me explain you guys something. I would never let someone's opinion dictate what I order or put in my mouth.

If I wanted to order 2 Helix models to come to the table to have one create a white chocolate ganache sauce for my cinnamon donuts, while I drink a nice Chateau La Rame out of the 2nd one's ass, I will do so. If you don't like it, then you can eat at the bar for all I care.


I know what good food looks and more importantly tastes like so when I order something its for all to enjoy. No one had any objections with having a scoop being put on their plate and everyone finished their portion and agreed that out of all the sides, that was the best.

I didn't know how much it would be, nor did I care. Here is my plate.




In all reality, you would have needed 2 portions for it to be enough for the 9 or so ppl that were there. Steak and service were amazing though. I kept being introduced as "OSA- my friend from the internet". That night was one of the nights I will remember every time I come back to Vegas, or eat at any steakhouse.

I am a great dinner guest, and am very sociable if I am in a good frame of mind. Everyone was all silent and checking out their phones until I opened up the conversation(jackdaniels did a good job of it as well, considering I understood maybe 60% of what was said). Some might even say my presence is worth the cost of my meal. Some.

I enjoying speaking with Scott's wife until I was reprimanded by him for joking too much with her. I might have misread that situation, but I know when a female is enjoying the conversation and it seems like he made this decision on his own. Later on, I was told by someone in the group that he's not a fan of gay or bi people. Don't know or care bout that though, as it didn't stop me from going balls deep inside this twink from California at my Paris suite overlooking the Eiffel Tower.
