It’s crazy how regionally dependent this is.

Some parts of the country are 100% even split and some parts are always itemize.

If I am not picking up the check, I prefer itemizing just because if I go out for a nice meal and drink 3-4 scotches over a couple hours, I don’t think everyone else should have to pay for that.

So at this point, I had just lent $500 to Scott.

He told me to fuck off. Blocked my cell. Blocked me on facebook and most insane, had blamed me for cheating him and his wife out of money for dinner as well as accused me of conspiring to rig credit credit roulette with our Ukrainian waitress at the Palm.

At this point I just wanted the $500 he owed me back and to be done with him.

I was informed by Druff that Scott had sent him a series of pm's/texts basically accusing me of the same thing. After thanking Druff for running PFA at a loss, I told him the same version of events I am reciting here. He as well couldn't make sense of what Scott's issue(s) were. Druff (as I concurred), was of the strong belief that Scott should have kept his ass at the dinner table for literally 2 more minutes and then could have acted like a grown man and made sure the amount of money I put in as well as others suited him.

A few weeks go by and I finally get a text from Scott. He wants to talk.

We end up talking on the phone for close to an hour.

The first thing I confront him with is that I let him know that I was fucking pissed that he thought I had scammed him at credit card roulette. I asked him if he really felt that way.

He implied that he was just angry and apologized for accusing me of such.

I trolled him really hard and told him that Druff knew the manager that worked there and was able to procure video surveillance of the entire cc roulette incident going down and that Druff had sent me a copy and that I was going to post it on PFA and embarrass him lol.

Scott actually believed it, because its totally within the realm of possibility that Druff could do this, and repeatedly asked me not to post it.

Again, I was done with this guy. I just wanted to get my $500 back if at all possible and sever all ties.

We hang up the phone in Scott's opinion on good terms.

About another week or two passes and I get a text from Scott.

He tells me that he is too broke to pay me the $100 monthly payment from the loan I gave him and instead he is going to mail me chips he has from the RIO that he had been collecting.

I send him my address and within a week or so a package arrives.

The package sits in my counter for a couple of weeks. I am in no urgent rush to cash them in or go all the way down to the rio with a bag full of $5 chips.

Scott tells me that he sent $65 extra in chips (after what he owed me) and asks me to go to the RIO asap and cash them in and send him the difference.

    Ughhh. Really?

Ok. I tell the dude as soon as I find time/motivation I will go down there.

2-3 days pass and he texts me again asking where his $65 is. He is becoming more and more aggressive with me. I start really getting pissed.

I tell him again, "Scott, I don't go to the rio often. I live 20+ miles away. When i get around to it, you'll get your $65"

Now of course I can easily just send him $65 and reimburse myself later but fuck him. After the way he treated me, why in the fuck would I go out of my way to help him?

He's texting me every day with a more and more aggressive tone demanding $65 from me.

I finally get fed up and start trolling him some more.

I tell him I am going the next day on vacation to Zipolite, the only nude beach in the mexico in the state of
Oaxaca but that I will try by hardest to get down to the rio before my flight.

Randomly, Matos from pfa, who happened to be at that dinner walks into the poker room where Scott works. He hasn't seen or talked to Scott since that fateful night.

Matos calls me to relay what has occurred.

He tells me that as soon as he see's Scott, his face starts turning boiling red and he starts going off all these months later about the dinner and specifically the lobster macaroni!!!!!!!!!

The next day when he thinks I am leaving, he sends me a series of angry texts demanding asap his $65. I tell him that I didn't make it to the rio and that I can either mail him back his chips or he can wait until I get back from Zipolite. I ask him repeatedly if I can get him or the misses a nice T-shirt or other souvenir from Zipolite. It's apparent he wants nothing to do with Zipolite unfortunately.

    He loses it. Like completely.

I wasn't with him but I can assure you his face was so red, he once again was the lobster.

He leaves me a voicemail and this is EXACTLY WHAT HE SAYS SCREAMING AT THE TOP OF HIS LUNGS VERBATIM

"HEY IT JUST GOES TO SHOW WHAT A PERSON YOU ARE. I HAVE NO TOE. I TRIED TALKING TO YOU BRANDON. YOU TOLD ME 3 TIMES YOU WERE GOING TO CASH THE CHIPS IN!!!!"

Yes. You read that all correctly. No typos.

    I don't respond.

Then he texts me and says "Nice to see your childish little bitch that can't do anything he says he's going to do. That's why he lives off mommy and daddy's money and fucks that old woman Jeannie you fucking piece of shit"

    WHOA!

    Really?

Like this dude has some nerve. Angry. Bitter. The world is against him. He never can catch a break etc. That's the kind of attitude he always had. It only showed more as we became better friends. I am sure all of you can relate to someone like that in your life.

So after that last text message, I kind of tilt and try to send a nasty message back. I realize I am blocked.

Fuck that. He isn't getting the last word again.

So I use a app on my phone and call him from a different number. He answers. I start screaming "LOBSTER MACARONI MOTHER FUCKER" at the top of my lungs.

He hangs up and blocks that number.

I call him from a different number and do it again.

Why not. He's stupid enough to keep answering.

I get a good chuckle and stop after hmm 12, 15 different numbers. I tell myself I am done.

About an hour goes by and I kid you not, on my fucking life, I get a phone call from the Baltimore police asking me to call some sergeant back in regards to harassing phone calls.

I seriously thought for a second about calling the officer back and telling him the entire story about the lobster macaroni and cheese but I decided they got more pressing issues than to deal with this crap.

This morning after the Garett call, I am on the phone with Sonatine. I finally decide to go to my car and open up the box of chips that Scott has sent me.

    Name: chips.JPG

Seriously? This picture doesn't even begin to explain it all.

There are around 100 chips in these stapled cases. There other chips in plastic cases. And there are $1 loose chips for casinos like the wynn, venetian, paris, flamingo etc.

Anyhow, look- I really rarely if ever call people out. I didn't say shit about the Larry thing for over 3 months until my Oslo friend kind of left me no choice.

So I don't want none of ya thinking I am a snitch, or I back stack people but enough is enough.

So Scott, whenever you read this...FUCK OFF AND............................................... .................................................. .................................................. ..

If everyone orders relatively evenly, I agree. Trying to itemize in order to equalize a few dollars difference on an expensive meal is lame.

However, there are some people like me who don't drink, and in some cases, don't like the appetizers other people order.

So yeah, if everyone at the table is ordering expensive drinks, and I'm downing water, I'm being the Jew and at least asking for my part to be itemized.

Otherwise I'll be for splitting evenly.

Honestly I can't believe nobody asked the price before ordering. When you're told that there's an item "not on the menu" and that it's "special", you need to ask the price.

Also, they probably could have gotten some of that taken off the bill, as it really was the server's duty to warn them that they were getting an "appetizer" which costs over $100.

Asking is pretty faux pas. Just saying. If you’re eating at CUT, you’re not asking how much anything is.

Huh? I ask how much stuff is all the time. There is nothing unreasonable to ask how much something is when around friends, or in this case internet poker posters sharing a check. You have a point if you are at some business meeting, then don't ask. But at a social event where everyone is chipping in, it's definitely not inappropriate, especially when two at the table already admitted they have no money, then its definitely appropriate. It's not like the waitress is going back into the kitchen like "OMG, I was just asked how much the crab cakes were".

Get over yourself. I was at Mortons the other night and was told a Sea Bass special and asked how much, she said like $55 or whatever. Nobody at the table freaked out.

CUT is a good restaurant, but it's not one of those super-exclusive places where you're considered gauche if you ask what something costs.

CUT has a menu with prices for everything, and this Lobster Mac was just a special dish they made for likely high rollers who wanted it and probably had the comps to pay for it.

You are a chump if you just order something like that, don't ask the price, and just pay whatever they charge you.

I even think it's possible that they would have sold it for less than $108 if requested, and that's just what they bill the casino for some whale's comps.

Josh Schlein. Wasn't he crazy too? I remember he came to NWP once tilting his face off on Reggiman for no reason, because Reggi was a bum hunter or whatever. I always wondered why Josh called himself "SDouble", and now I know.
