Surprised there was no thread on this, but Rap-Emo legend LIL PEEP died today. You might not know this, but He was cited as one of the primary artists responsible for the post-emo revival with his style of hip hop which came to be known as "emo trap".

I was following LIL PEEP on You Tube for quite some time and was planning on attending one of his concerts later this year. He was a true SoundCloud rapper and simply the Godfather of Emo Trap Rap. I had become quite the fan.

This is a very sad day. So long LIL PEEP. RIP age 21.

I am old, but I listen to both pop music and hip hop on the radio, so if he did something that got any radio time at all, I would have heard it probably.

I was curious about this person with maybe the worst tattoos I've ever seen, so I did a google search. The first result is wikipedia. It was like deja vu all over again.

I always find it annoying when they say the cause of death is an "overdose of xanax." It is 99 percent never xanax by itself that kills but always when it is mixed with something else (most likely an opiate based medicine). For some reason , dumb ass people and doctors havent figured out yet that you shouldnt be taking both at the same time.

I always find it annoying when they say the cause of death is an "overdose of xanax." Toxicology reports come 6-8 weeks after death. So before that the educated guess is comprised of stuff they found near the body. In this case my guess would be accidental overdose from xanax, lean and alcohol. The second guess would be suicide with xanax. And the 3rd would be dedicated stupidity with xanax alone.

Most people pass out before they can take enough xanax to kill themselves accidentally. It gets a lot easier if you have a 20mg a day habit though.
