I do find it interesting how all these female actresses are complaining about being predated upon by older actors when they reach their 30s and their careers have stalled, and have aged out of the parts they used to get. They don't seem to have too much of a problem with it when they are in their 20s and their careers are hot.

I think we can all agree that Weinstein is a big problem that does need to be addressed and he probably has a clinical psychiatric disorder and literally can't control himself.

But when you have actors like James Woods, who has been consistently dating young aspiring actresses/models/whatever in their young 20s for the last 40 years (and every woman in Hollywood knows this), and none of them seem to have a problem when they are in their 20s, but suddenly do when they age out and their careers stall, doesn't seem like the it is coming from a sincere place.

I am of course generalizing, and there is obviously going to be exceptions. R Kelley is another example. Everyone knows he preys on young girls. He should be in jail, but he is rich and can get good lawyers and buy silence so he isn't. It is just so predictable. Young girl joins his cult when she is 16, and everything is good until she hits age 20 (or whenever) and he decides she is too old and throws her out. And then we have a tabloid story of the woman accusing him of sexual transgressions.

It's dating if she's an adult and she consents. It's harassment if she says no and he won't take no for an answer. Knowing the difference might come in handy.

I'm surprised Woods even knows who Negreanu and Ng are. Is he a poker player?

Yes Woods is basically a mediocre mid-stakes cash player who occasionally splashes around in tournaments to no real effect.


I believe most of his play is at Commerce 5/10 NL.

Played with him once years and years go. Was 25-50 LHE at Hustler. Not sure why he was playing limit that day, as I know he normally always plays NL. He was very personable and talking nonstop. He was definitely the "star" of the table. He was probably high on some sort of upper. Predictably had very young blonde girl sitting behind him. Seemed like nice enough guy.

Woods used to play at foxwoods often on weekends, at least until 5yrs ago. (I have no idea if he still frequents.) Hes a Rhode Islander by birth iir, and has a sweet place somewhere in that state I've heard.

I've witnessed Woods play 5/6 times personally, and literally every time he had a 19ish, hot, tall, 8orbetter on his lap or in the game next to him. Obv he colluded and played her cards as well. No one seemed to care.
