Pro wrestling icon Ric Flair has been hospitalized -- and it sounds serious.

The Nature Boy's reps confirmed the 68-year-old was hospitalized over the weekend -- but Legacy Talent Agency insisted it was for "routine monitoring" and there was "no reason to panic."

But things changed by Sunday night, when the reps posted, "We need your prayers, positive energy, and well wishes for our Living Legend as he is dealing with some tough medical issues."

The agency has not said exactly what those medical issues are.

We just saw Flair out back in May -- and he told us not to let terrorists scare them away from sporting events.

He's also been campaigning for his friend Kane, who's running for mayor in Tennessee.

I'm a huge flair mark, but if he dies I dont think i'll be sad. Guy survived a plane crash 40 years ago that should have killed him, and has had one of the best runs you can have. Drinking copious amount of alcohol, and snorting cocaine like a madman usually results in an early death. Just googled it. Looks like he admits to using juice 3 times for short periods of time. The last time being 1989. Naitch lies all the time tho, so its possible hes juicing his fucking ass off. I just assumed he never abused the shit, because before the airplane crash he had a huge football player build, and afterward he got a lot smaller and never really had a real impressive physique. If he did abuse roids for long periods of time that makes it a lot more impressive to me though that hes still alive given all his other vices.

I might nitpick your use of the word arguing, so maybe both?

He had some sort of emergency surgery after being put into the coma, but that's about all people seem to be sure of right now. I think best case at the moment would be "stable."
