I gave up on 5 dimes 5 years ago when all my credit card deposits were getting rejected. Cant help you there.

One thing I used to love about the 5 dimes software that I miss is that if there were a lot of teasable football games you could just choose 5-6 teams (or however many you want) and tell the software to do every combination of 2-3-4-5-6 etc. team teasers, and it would just automatically do it.

I remember one glorious week years ago I won around $800 doing a shit ton of $3 teasers when 6 of the 7 teams in my combinations hit.

Do they still let you do this?

Yea there’s a thread on SBR that’s gotten a little traction about this. Few people called the customer service line and it’s not working at all — the site looks pulled and not just down for maintenance.

Not fully freaking out just yet, but damn what a super bad time to worry your customers half to death....especially right after game 7 of the World Series!

I tried Western Union once. Had to go into some ghetto check cashing place and send the money to some woman named "Edna" in the Phillipines. Whole thing was so shady was kind of a turn off (and this is coming from someone who does 95% of their sports betting with local bookies)

They go down every so often. I expect they get hacked, like a lot. It would be well within expectations for them to halt operations for 12 hours to restore from backup and all that. Given that we arent about to roll with any of their competition, they can afford to give no fucks about customer outreach and send their support staff to the beach for the day while the admins do their thing.

Western Union as a deposit method is obsolete.

They are blacklisting people who use it for gambling, and they've gotten pretty good at identifying it.

I stopped using them years ago, but I used to use them all the time to deposit to Bodog/Bovada.

Let's just say that the local employees of US Bank (which does Western Union) were pretty convinced that I was being taken by multiple Filipina dating scammers, as I kept sending them $2500. They even called me aside at one point and told me they were a little bit concerned I was being victimized, and I explained to them that I fully understood about dating scams, and that I personally knew the women I was sending the money to. They didn't buy it, but they accepted it.
