That's a smart way to make some money off catching AIDS.
Good luck man, I think it's very doable. I went from 247lbs to 172lbs in just under a year 5 years ago. Im sure you've got your game plan set but if you're interested in what I did I'm happy to share.
How much time can you reasonably dedicate per day to get in shape? I ask this because as Limitles advised, the first 3 months are probably going to be walking only to make sure you don't get hurt or overdo it. And walking takes up a lot of time. Every day. And a lot of discipline to do it.....every day.
This is doable but all the potential pitfalls you mentioned really worry me.
I would also like to hear about what if any physical activity you have been doing the past 18 years. I hope none, knowing that would make it much easier to pull off.
A college friend of mine has lost 100 pounds in 9 months. Not sure what the diet aspect
Was but he did it by joining THE CAMP. I think it’s some sort of nationwide gym chain that specializes in big weight loss. They set a series of 30 day goals. That’s all I know about it but maybe worth looking into.
On another note those are probably fair odds, I would put it around 30% to pull it off if I had to take a stab at it. Just have to hit that draw.
There is also potential to break that 295lb by a good bit if you stay focused. That is still a TON of weight for someone to carry at 6ft and change. I would try to get some bonus odds for every pound (or 5 IDK) below or something if possible.
Corrigan is disgusting looking. Also jealous of me being god and him an absolute SCRUB

If you want help/advice on hitting this goal let me know.
I have zero doubt I could get you there in a year (likely 6 months).
I was never that big, but I can tell you how to do it no problem. I dropped from 225ish to 170 in 4 months by simply cutting out bread, pasta, and other complex carbs 6 days a week. I literally are nothing but meat and broccoli. The key from everything I read though is to eat normal on whatever day you choose to be the 7th of the week so you're metabolism doesn't crash.
Why dont you wager on Healthywage.com? Your margins are too high. If you bet 500 a month there you would make between 6k and 8k if you reach your goal.
1.6lbs a week over a year is a very easy amount to lose. The only question is executing and discipline. Do you have any addiction issues like drinking that would make this more of a challenge? Losing 1.6lbs per week coming from a heavy starting point just seems too easy. You could pull this off without even working out intensely and tossing in a cheat meal or two every week.
