I have told JJ that we will be making this a big topic of radio (tonight), and hopefully it will create some pressure on Merge.

Some sites do read poker forums, and it does bother them when sites like this one put the pressure on them to make a situation right.

We will be bringing this thread and this radio segment to Merge's attention, and they will be made aware that this will not go away until they make it right for JJ.

JJ has told me that he simply wants the money back and to cash out, and is perfectly willing to leave the site if they don't want him there.

Nothing too much to add here, but I can second that I know JJ and there is "zero point... zero" chance this was a chip dump.

I was banned from Merge a few years ago for winning as well. One time I had a similar request and locking of my account like this on Merge where I just responded "I have no idea who xxxxxx is, but he's fucking terrible at poker". A few hours later my account was active again and I never heard from them again about it.

It's 2017, this is what online poker looks like now... run by incompetent companies who are making FAR less than they used to so the default move now is to just steal whenever they feel they can get away with it. There is zero reason to have any integrity now, they just don't care about poker and would rather just not have it if they could get away with it. In Merge's case, there is zero chance their poker room is a net positive on their bottom line. Even though they stripped away all the affiliates and player rewards, they would still rather have the few fish they have left betting their $500 on football and craps instead of losing it to poker pros and raking $8 in the process.

You can maybe call JJ weak for playing KQ that way, but it's a joke if that's their smoking gun in a 500 hand session.

I dont think jj917 is a bumhumter. When I have played with him he has played vs anyone in any lineup. More than likely the lobbies were dead and he was trying to start a game

Merge has been banning people for about 3-4 years for nothing other than winning and this year it seems it has gotten worse. I think I lost playing poker last September thru December and then I think I lost about $20,000 roughly in January and then a few months into the year I was a net $13,000 winner and they banned me from playing poker. So overall from Sept to April I may have been a breakeven player or maybe a slight winner or loser who generated a ton of rake and they still banned me from poker.

I know some other people who have gotten notices like JJ9917 earlier in the year and have had there accounts frozen for a day or 2. But this is the 1st I have heard of them taking money from someone.

I have been told by reliable sources that most of the people who understood the poker side of things at that company are not with them anymore.

Also when they used to have collusion cases and disputes on hands etc.... and stuff like JJ9917 is describing, I know one of the guys who they would turn to when they needed these issues resolved because he is a poker expert. He no longer works them on these issues from what I am told.

Bottom line is the people that work there have no clue about poker

I can 2nd the banning winning players thing, Merge has banned literally every winning MTT player that I know. If you win on there for any extended period of time then you will be gg'ed. This is the first time I have read about them being scummy to take the money from someones account though !

Bum hunting is an annoying practice but it goes on a lot and if a site allows it then they are more to blame then a player trying to take advantage of something they are allowed to within the rules. If Merge wants to get rid of people winning too much even though it's a dirty practice they need to pay the person their money and not steal from them.

This whole thing looks like a house account who sat and found some questionable spot to nit pick at a guy for a 100% freeroll pure money grab. Perhaps they didn't kick him off the network yet (not sure if they have or haven't) but they are trying to get him to leave by doing this.

Merge is a joke and has been for a while. LOL at charging 5% for bitcoin cashouts while sites like Bovada, ACR, and Bet Online are doing them for free as they should.

I enjoy seeing guys that beat me before on the felt..

I love the fight.. and do enjoy eventually taking them down or the "back and forth" of a street fight. Fucken love it..

And on some night I enjoy finding total bitch donk idiots..but they come happenstance.

So, you're saying you've been banned from playing poker for the last 6 months on Merge?

I got banned in March or April I think. One day I tried to log in and I got a message saying to email support or something to that effect. They basically just said I was welcome to play any casino or sports bets but I was restricted from the poker room. I was barely putting in volume and wasn't doing well for the prior 6 months

The people who control the decisions at the sportsbook are aware there was a long segment on the POKER FRAUD ALERT radio show and they still ignore my emails and my requests to gather all of the hand history which they hold. They have not responded to anything since they made the decisions.

Great segment on the radio show too. It was broken down perfectly by Dan Druff. I would give them permisiion to post the hands here, or give them to Dan or they could just send them to me and I will post them all here for the world of poker to see
