Rich Hill worried me with that leadoff single and the long fly ball following it, but he's looked great since then.
Why is Kike batting 4th again?
He must have something on Dave Roberts.
He just faked a bunt on a 3-1 count. And walked.
Also LOL @ Lester's issues with throwing to 1st base.
Too bad the Dodgers aren't exactly a speedy team, but it's hard not to be speedy against Lester.
Also shout out to Forsythe for not being useless in the postseason, like he was in the regular season.
Sadly this bum Hill won't last 4.
Lol the announcers describing the crowd as subdued. Compared to what?
FML
Maddon went full retard walking Forsythe
Wow, what a gambler. Thx old man
My balls are fully retracted. Lackey
Maddon arghhh
The difference between the two bullpens is astounding.
Also, Justin Turner hits like .500 every postseason so GL with that.
Mets must be happy that they chose to save $500k by releasing Turner in 2013. Great decision from an organization known for them.
The cubs are a bunch of assholes for doing this to me. I’ll have a nervous breakdown if the dodgers win the WS.
Series is far from over
I'll concede this point. I have to.
However, the issue to me is Cubs (Bryant, Rizzo & Baez) had 5 innings of not catching up to Hill's 88mph fastball. Tired, slumping... idk.
Most of Dodgers runs have been late garbage time. This is not a powerhouse offense.
Edit:
Just to put a finer point on offensive comparison. Cubs scored more runs in the second half of regular season than Dodgers.

Sabathia up next for Yankees.
This front loader used to eat a full box of Cap'n Crunch every day.
How great was that?
How great has Lester been post season in his career. Most innings, most wins ... not sure. Idiot Red Sox let him go then got Price for 3x the cost
I've vented enough. Keeping the faith big dick. Yes, far from over.
True, in 2017 the Dodgers offense was 6th place in the National League in total runs scored while the Cubs was 2nd...the Dodger offense is based on wearing down the starting pitcher and then attacking a tiring pitcher and following 2nd line relief pitchers...as the Dodgers say "we grind out our at bats" (indeed, the least selective hitter on the team, Seager, is out for series, so the Dodgers are even more patient/grind orient vs the Cubs)
meanwhile, the Dodger pitching allowed the fewest runs in the National League, the Cubs allowed the 4th fewest
this year the 10 playoff teams were top to bottom the strongest group in a number of years....

(long before there was a PFA i had my Grenade & Crossbones avatar at DD)
Hard to compare offenses because the Dodgers play half their games in a pitcher's park.
But yes, the Dodgers' strength on offense in grinding out AB and running up pitch counts, and they're also pretty good at hitting HR.
The bullpen is the big difference maker in the postseason, though, since most of the pitchers these days last 5 innings in a playoff game, and then they get replaced.
Look at how many zeroes the Dodgers bullpen has posted this postseason. This isn't like previous years where, aside form Jansen, everyone sucked and they had to bring on Kershaw in relief. It's very hard to score on this team late in the game.
Dodgers lost 0 games in 2017 if leading after 8.
