wow "the rifleman" chuck person got arrested...goddamn that's some sick shit right there...
but at the end of the day, wake me when we find that the NCAA isn't corrupt...hopefully stuff like this will start to crack the NCAAs lock on shit...
How much in bribes does the government get from Nike each year? I'm sure the black community will just love that all the coaches that were nabbed are black. I swear though every time this happens the NCAA is the one that looks the dumbest for still not paying guys in 2017.
Adidas must just be a special company though. It was just a couple months ago in Las Vegas that Adidas had security escort a female ref off the court and out of the building during an AAU game because she dared give Lavar Ball a technical. (Adidas still courting the Ball's despite Big Baller Brand)
I hate the NCAA and all their fucking bullshit, but consider it fucking brilliant that in 2017 they're still managing to get away with this long con of not paying players...Or put it another way, let the players in revenue generating sports make money off of their performance...
I completely understand your comment tho...

Aside from money laundering (which I don't understand the necessity of), why is any of this illegal? Giving a kid $100k to play for a particular school is not a bribe, it's fair payment in exchange for service. Intermediating deals between players and agents/companies is just brokering. Everyone involved is over the age of 18 and nobody is being defrauded.
Unless breaking NCAA rules is somehow a violation of federal law, it makes no sense to me why the FBI needs to be involved.
not the case under NCAA rules...remember these are "amateur scholar athletes"...theres not supposed to be a payment in exchange for service...
pure guess and speculation, but gonna guess the feds can get involved because of money that goes into these universities is federal money in the form of grants, student loans, payments to state schools, etc...
I hate Nike. Had a great shot at a job with them years ago. My previous job's boss had given me a great reference. Job interview went great. There was just one more step & the job was mine. I had to take a polygraph test. So like a dumb ass(I was in my early 20's) I told the truth. About a year earlier me and a buddy had broke into a school & squirted fire extinguishers all over the gym floor. Spent a night in jail & cost me a few $100. Really no big deal, right?
You know those cock suckers never called me back. Fucking slant eyed jap company.
(long before there was a PFA i had my Grenade & Crossbones avatar at DD)
Louisville is the unnamed school and just landed a prized recruit for an alleged $100k......this has been going on forever.....Sonny Vaccaro moved from Nike to Adidas and actually hired the Adidas employee who was indicted.....Pitino will be the new teflon don if he avoids this but the FBI likely has this recorded so don't bet on that (pun intended)....college bb will be in some turmoil----there is no way this is over.....
so pitino and jurich (Louisville AD) are supposedly gonna get shitcanned over this...guess trying to compete with UK for the title of champion of Kentucky finally brought these guys down...
with that being said, trying to figure out how calapari is skating on this shit...you talk about what looks like the epitome of scumbaggery in college basketball, he's it in spades...there's just no way in hell cal ain't paying players...
TSN reporting here in Canada that Pitino is fired 100% done.
fired is such a harsh word...he and the AD are on "unpaid administrative leave"...
EDIT: damn jurich was supposedly shitcanned because he wouldn't fire pitino...if that was the reason this fucking idiot lost his job, just wow...THAT was the final straw...hookers with recruits, hiring bobby pitrino, and all this other shit...if he fired pitino he'd still have his job!??!? jesus Christ...

I appreciate the irony that you actually have to go to TMZ to actually find out what happened and who was arrested and for what, because the liberal MSM (including ESPN) are being very coy about talking about the arrests themselves (which aren't a good narrative because they were black men) and instead are just focusing entirely on 2 (white) men who weren't even charged with anything.
Seriously what the fuck are you talking about? Every single article yesterday mentioned everything you said they didn't, including this one from ESPN, which was their headline piece: http://www.espn.com/mens-college-bas...aud-corruption
Is a lot of today's stuff about Pitino? Yup, because he's the biggest fish in the ncaab pond and he's today's news. All the shit you say didn't get reported was reported yesterday and last night, but obv continue to act like that's not true.
