I'd much rather sell it to the jeweler if I can get a similar amount because then I don't have to deal with the hassle of shipping it and paying for the shipping. And the guy who offered said he's waiting for a lock poker cashout, so I'll have to wait until he receives the cashout.

Somebody on the hate site offered me $1k already. I took it in to a jeweler to get their opinion, since I had to repair another watch that I had. The owner was very impressed by it and asked me how much I wanted for it. I asked her if it would be possible to have them sell it for me and take a commission. She said "I can do whatever you want", lol. She asked how much I wanted to sell it for and I said $1.3k - $1.4k. She said $1.3, might be hard to get, and $1k might be more realistic but that she'll have her guy take a look at it and she'll get back to me with what she thinks she can get. But she didn't tell me what kind of commission she would charge.

Anyhow, my question is how much commission do you think I should ask for? I was thinking 10% would be reasonable. Does that sound about right?

You're probably right. Although unlike the owner of a certain fail site, I don't like pimping my business ventures as I'm playing cards.

I have two, so I wouldn't call that a fascination. But I just think they're unique/cool looking. I remember the first time I wore one, somebody at the table goes "Look at this kid, he has the jakeys on woteva", lol. This is the one that I usually wear:

I've never seen them. They're nice though. Are they ridiculously thick though? I have one semi nice watch, but it's only a Lacoste. I wear g shock watches pretty much everyday and just switch them up according to color.

Yes, they're pretty thick/heavy. In fact if you wear it all day you can definitely feel it on your wrist. And they make other kinds of watches, they're not all bubble. In fact, I don't even know if they make bubble watches anymore. I know they retired most of the versions and I've seen their value increasing on the after market over the last couple of years. Like I said, the World face one I bought for $1.55k and I no longer see them sell for less than $2.5k. And the one in this thread I bought for $850, and they never go for below $1k now.
