I have had a 7+ for about a year. As long as this thing stays functional I will keep this for as long as I can. FWIW I shattered the screen the other night and within a 2 hour span I sprained a finger and blew a transmission for the 3rd time in 3 weeks/thread

I only stuck with iPhones for the past 8+ years because:

1) They were the standard in smartphones, and most apps were made for iPhone first, and everything else second.

2) Jailbreaking. I could get around Apple's over-controlling nature and do what I actually wanted to do with the phone.

However, jailbreaking is pretty much dead now, and Apple's innovation and market lead has severely diminished.

I was never an Apple fanboy. I was actually the opposite. I found their products to be overly rigid and controlling, and their corporate culture to be authoritarian, one-size-fits-all, and customer-unfriendly.

I was with great trepidation that I purchased my first iPhone.

When I have to put my current phone out to pasture, I might go with something else.

Yer stuck with an Iphone because its the social norm. I know plenty of chicks who refuse to fuck a guy if he has a droid.

I do this sometimes when I go deep into hermit mode, but its so difficult to function in society without a cell phone. even simple things like signing up for a gmail account sometimes require a text confirmation to confirm you are legit. Obv there are ways to get a text without a phone, but its very inconvenient.

also, i've heard that apple purposely slows down older phones to force you to buy new ones, and maybe its possible they somehow purposely fuck with the batteries.
