    Poker Back at Bovada

Interesting......there must of been a big enough dip on the fail site ignition that they decided to bring it back. Also add the fact NFL, EPL, and NCAA seasons are about to be in full swing, which always drove site traffic.

    https://www.bovada.lv/help/poker-back-what-new

We recognized over the past year that there’s been a large appetite for Poker. We’ve decided that bringing back our full suite of poker offerings, is an opportunity to enhance player experience and bring even more excitement to you, our valued players.

    Why is poker back?

Our players have spoken! So we’ve listened and brought Poker back.
Can I transfer funds from Ignition Casino back to Bovada?

You are unable to transfer funds from any other brand on the PWL network.

Am I allowed to have both a Bovada and Ignition Casino account active at the same time?

Yes, you are able to have an account on Bovada and Ignition Casino at the same time as they are distinct entities; however, you are not permitted to play poker simultaneously or in the same tournament at any point from separate operators. For more details click here.

Soooo... regarding that awful lobby where you can't pick your table or view games...

I played around with it tonight.

I found that you can pretty much open all available games (ones with open seats) by just min-buying, sitting out, and repeating this over and over until they place you heads up (or you have opened up the maximum).

Then you view which of the games is best, close the others, and start playing.

Any other tips on how to best handle this awful system?

That is the best you can do just watch an orbit or two and decide if you want to play or not. A lot of games have been dead but hopefully with Bovada having it back we will see more players in a few weeks when NFL regular season starts.

This model is a fail except for games like NL200 and lower imo that have a lot of traffic. A huge problem is a rec loads a table and sees nobody or one player they immediately leave instead of waiting it out for a game to take off.

Even for a lot of regulars if they don't want to start HU or 3 handed they will sit, see the game is running short handed or one guy waiting to play and leave.

From what I can tell if you sit a particular stake where lets say they have two tables going in the pool one with 2 players and one with 4 at the table you will be sent first to the 2 player table and then to the four as they try to level them out but you get around this sitting both and staying at the ones you want.

If only they would compromise bringing back the old lobby but eliminating the stats like avg. pot size and all that from showing in there as it wasn't to be trusted as accurate on this network anyways.

Played some 30-60 LHE and 1-2 PLO. Broke around even.

The 30-60 was good for awhile, but mainly because of one fish. Then the game broke really fast.

The 1-2 PLO had mostly solid players, which was kinda depressing. There were a few spewtards here and there, but I got coolered hard by quads over top set full, so that ate my profits in that game.

Maybe this will improve once football season gets going.

I've definitely noticed the influx of fun players in the games i've been playing. Today more than ever, I think because tonight is kind of the start of the college football season.

I've been told that ignition and bovada share player pools. I have not been able to confirm this. Any insight?

It's confirmed and why you aren't allowed to play on both clients at once.

The seating system sux but as druff mentioned on radio, you can angle it in some ways.

Ive already figured out how to seat select and rathole. Im sure druff figured it out too.

You know what's tilting is how people at PLO8 on there are willing to put in big stacks with nothing but a low (or just a low draw), but every time I get it in super good like that, the fuckers find some way to bad-beat chop it or even scoop with some runner-runner nonsense.

I mean, I'm thrilled people are playing like that, but geez, reward me for once.

I've played both PLO8 and PLO on Bovada recently. The PLO8 games are much better. PLO has been around long enough to where most people have a general clue of what to do, and most people understand not to put in a ton without the nuts or a draw to the nuts.

At PLO8, a number of people are still afraid to let go of an A2 low or A2 low draw, no matter how much $ goes in, so there is a good opportunity there to quarter people and to also scoop them when you have A2 with other low cards, and then their low gets counterfeited.

I found at PLO8 that you should just :poundit when you have a scoop-quality hand, as you don't need to keep the pot reasonable to get action. Anyone with the low or low draw is going to stack off. I did get royally fucked last night in a massive suckout where the guy was nearly dead on both ends and got runner-runner wheel to scoop me.

most of the time people have no fucking clue and will just chase that naked A2...I do it as well, but usually there is a method behind the madness....lets say you have A924r in the BB and there's a raise from the CO...you call and see a Q85dd flop...you c/c...turn is a brick...ill probably peel another one because I'm gonna use any low unpaired diamond to rep the flush donk bombing it into the initial raiser, also probably will be doing that on a 2 as well...again not something ill do all the time, but if I know my opponents are tight or don't like to call big bets then ill attack...if I get 1/4ered, oh well, move on to the next hand...

the fucking nits on 4 are always worried about getting 1/4ered in PLO8...within reason I don't concern myself with that...if I think I can get you to fold half the pot by putting the pressure on you with a naked A2 then I'm gonna do it...im much more concerned with turning my hands into scoopers than I am with being 1/4ered...

What's the best US facing site for low limit PLO? Haven't played in forever and want to get back into it.
