First purchase was this backstage pass to a Grateful Dead show that was in my home town back in 1979. I had heard legendary stories of this show for years but until I was able to access the internet and research it and see that it actually took place it was all a myth to me. I had heard that there were a fair amount of hippies who were stranded in town for weeks following this show which is not the greatest town to be in because it was a super woodsy town with like 0 hotels or motels but standard practice for hard core hippies
Anyhow my home town prob had about 30,000 residents at the time and there is a tiny hockey rink which seated about 3000 people which was called the Billerica forum. After a land dispute or something like that it was re-named the Chelmsford forum. Ironically this show was billed as being played in Lowell Massachusetts because the concert was mainly being played for students at the University of Massachusetts Lowell which is a city that is sort of a border.
Anyhow this pass was being sold on Ebay for $50 and I bid $28 and it was accepted and will be a good addition to my memorabilia collection.
