    fair

Was more about data mining than complaining though.

For example, I know there are a lot of Canadians here that have insight on things i have no clue about - real estate, Canadian banking, etc

Good ol' republic of texas, I've been everywhere man, been to Toronto wasn't impressed, it looked like hodgy central i can see horrible things happening there.

I really liked ottowa, it was one of the cleanest cities I've ever been too, i actually tried to look for trash on the ground and i couldn't find any. I would love to move to ottowa but i hate the cold.

Quebec is literally racist as fuck but no one talks about that.

I think it's very admirable that you're willing to up-sticks and move to another country

May I ask specifically what is driving this change? I.e. what in particular about the US has led you to the conclusion that it is getting worse?

I am at a crossroads in my life myself, important decisions are coming up and a change of country is one of them.

I need to carefully consider my next move- luckily I am in no rush at this juncture.

Like I said, by Canadian standards. I used to live on the south side of Chicago. Nowhere in Canada even comes close.

Hi, what neighborhood on the southside did you live in? Because i doubt you lived in Southshore, Englewood, Garfield Park.......

    let me guess.....

    Chinatown?

if you didn't live in or near the first 2 neighborhoods I mentioned, you didn't live anywhere where it's dangerous.

stop making chicago look bad you fucking twit. you're probably from Summit or Alsip.

Hey twitface, have you been to Vancouver before? No I didn't think so. Therefore your opinion of the "bad" parts of these respective cities will be ignored.

Yeah, I actually checked on that. There is an issue on one of my parents side that screwed it up. Long story.
Did it involve a speed trap in Banff?

Been to Canada a ton of times and love it. The people are amazing and really like Vancouver. I am fine with paying 50 percent of my income to a government that actually puts it to good use.

This is gonna be one hell of an epic trip report once you get drunk again, and realize that you thought moving to Canada was actually a good idea and you have to reverse this

TMMLK APPROVES C$ IN CANADA. Obviously meet up in Toronto or Vancouver. We will discuss locks for NFL this year. C$ is GOD. Just take your traffic tickets to court - they are always lowered and if the police officer doesn't show up you get off.

C $, Why would you move to the country that the United States will no longer let refugees in so Canada takes them now? Maybe this looks good short term but, look at how Europe got screwed and is still taking it up the *. Also this all looks like a bubble situation.

I doubt youll have problems relocating but let me know if you have any trouble with the visa process, I did a ton of homework on it. Caveat; that was before Americans started fleeing en masse, things might be different now.
SecDev is hiring in Ottawa. Great standard of living and I imagine would make visa process a snap.

Lol at immigration being tough. Canada is known for accepting a huge amount of refugees per capita. 5 times as many as USA...
