    Moving to Canada

After being more days sober than i can remember, I kind of realized this country is going down the toilet. So basically started the process of buying my way into Canada. Vancouver specifically . Moving next month and then going to go through the process and eventually (if they will take me god willing) change citizenship.

Been to Canada a ton of times and love it. The people are amazing and really like Vancouver. I am fine with paying 50 percent of my income to a government that actually puts it to good use.

    God bless Canada

I priced houses in VC and by the time I was ready to move, the Chinese had driven up property prices by 300%.

I doubt youll have problems relocating but let me know if you have any trouble with the visa process, I did a ton of homework on it. Caveat; that was before Americans started fleeing en masse, things might be different now.

BTW vancouver and Toronto are seen as the most volatile housing markets in Canada (they have been predicting a big burst for years). I beleive it already started to occur in toronto but not sure about Vancouver. So be careful, otherwise real estate fairly stable here.

I rarely get drunk and most of the time I dont drive. I like walking even if it the destination if 5 miles away from my house.

If you are serous and would like some assistance? I have lived in here in Northvan for 25 yrs. I am sure you have friends here I guess.
I have a few European followers friends trying to gain citizenship here and have found that signing up for some school classes opens some long term stay doors. I realize you are not interested in going to school but it may soften the landing.

    Thank you very much.

I have some friends in Canada who run businesses. I think between firing some money in the form of government bonds and them giving me a job should go smoothly to get a resident card. After that, need to live there for 4-5 years and then apply for citizenship. Both my parents were born in Canada so looking to see if there is an angle there.

Forever is a long time. Imagine how much longer it will be sober.

Perhaps our Canadian members can offer an alcoholic's perspective on Canada. You might consider their opinion in the event you revert back to your winning ways.

If both your parents were born in Canada, seems to me like you are already in. How did you not look this up before?

Would imagine that's the first avenue he went down, but they probably got dual citizenship or something now, which possibly? changes things somewhat.
