Cliffs:
HOA for a mansion-filled San Francisco development didn't pay $14/year tax for a private street for 3 decades.
Wealthy homeowners were not aware that city put private street up for sale at a tax auction.
Young couple who don't live on the street and bought it at the auction plan to charge homeowners for use of the street, expecting to recover way more than what they paid for it.
Homeowners are suing the city and the couple, claiming the city was sending the tax bill to an old address.
P.S. Thread title should say only "mansion", not "mega-mansion".
