well, the peacock, or its by its scientific name "Peacocks Birdalis" is a giant bird indigenous to many places.

it can be found all over the world in a variety of colors.

The Black Peacock, native to he mid regions of north america, is best known for its very vast array of colorful feathers on both its head and tail. it's body is black.

They eat 4.5 lbs of trash a year. mostly from suburban neighborhoods.

The largest black peacock ever recorded on record was 16.5"
I'm wondering why a bird native to a continent that Portugal never colonized would be its unofficial sumbol.

Back Bay, Copley Place and all that.

Back Bay is all land fill. The high rises are built on wooden pilings of the sort you see that support the piers in the harbor. They cannot dry out or they will rot.

Obviously, I have nothing to contribute.

Newbury Street with the swank shops is a hawt take for the people watching.

Did you do a duck boat tour?

James Taylor was at Fenway last night. Wife went. Sold out. Packed house. They say it was good.

What's your take on the people of Boston generally?

    How was Foxwoods?

    Soft. Great games.
I went to UMass Amherst - this is familiar territory for me.

Great 10 day journey so far, maybe a TR if I find the time. Figured, I'd throw in a little more BBC in the meantime.....

If you are up for a beer and the weather holds, hit up the Trillium Beer Garden. Depending on when you were last in the area, the entire Greenway is well worth checking out, but drinking some of the country's best beer right across from the Rowes Wharf Archway is pretty bad-ass, especially considering our history of blue laws and big-city-but-small-town bullshit.

    https://www.trilliumbeergarden.com/

Last week me and kuntmissioner pre-gamed at the Beer Garden before a concert at the Wilbur. Couple 3 beers there and a joint walk through the city = great times.

You are allowed your opinion. However, I've seen you post links from beeradvocate before, so let's see what they think about Trillium. In their Top 250 best rated beers, no category excluded, Trillium appears 19 times. That's 8% of the entire list. You know who has more?

    Nobody.

I think the bottom pic says black cock is greater than Kilgore Trout.

I don't remember having either but that can't be true.

Am I reading that list correctly? Tree House Brewing Company has 12 of the top 38 before Trillium even appears for the first time @ #39?

People do love their Tree House. Their beer is amazing, and their reputation is somehow even better. 8 of the first 9 TH on the list are very rarely released. I'm lucky to live about 55 miles from their new brewery, and like 8 miles from Trillium in Canton.

Here's a Bright from TH I was finishing just before entering Gillette Stadium the other night.
