Between now and early morning on the 22nd, I'm going to be driving on a load that takes me on a route through Missouri where I could stop and view the total solar eclipse at a rest area on I-44 (just southwest of St. Louis) if I get there early enough the previous day and plan to haul ass to the final destination about 580 miles past that point in one single day.



Buuuuuuut, I'm betting my company wouldn't be happy with me putting the on-time delivery at risk by hanging out there so long before rolling again towards final. And I really don't like the idea of doing so either. Especially because this is very important customer.
